Honestly, I don't think we were that f**ked under Bennett attitude wise; it wasn't a player problem despite how much the media tries to spin it and will probably spin it this week. 2012 was never going to be a success, 2014 was never going to be a success with the financial drama going on at the club. We look back at it and think "well no premiership under the best coach in the game so obviously the club is f**ked". Stone's poor coaching stance probably makes the player's attitude look worse than it actually was.

It's great that Bennett took the Broncos to the grand final, but that side was always going to have a good season with Milford and Boyd in the side. It's a hell of a lot more talented than any 17 that ran out under Bennett and it was a miracle 2013 was the season it was. I still feel 2014 could have been anything without Alex's injury and the payment issue but it is what it is.

Club management accepted mediocrity for too long, so did Rick Stone. With his job on the line, still kept selecting the same players who were not up to first-grade standard, sealed his fate.

Pre Bennett we had probably the worst roster in the competition yet held our own despite serious deficiencies. Never a contender but always punching above our weight and having a genuine crack.
He arrived bought a bunch of players and let go of even more and we are now requiring a total cleanout to start afresh. Our football under Bennett was outdated and uninspiring. He did absolutely nothing positive for us.
