Best Grand Final for Rugby League in 2011

After having been at the Grand Final supporting the Roosters, I was able to console myself with the belief that the Dragons' win was "for the good of the game", where "Rugby League was the winner" on the day.
From this point of view, and casting aside club loyalties or prejudices, what in your opinion would represent the best Grand Final ( participants and result) for the NRL in 2011? Please give your rationale. IMO, it would be Warriors v Broncos, with the Warriors the victors.
The Warriors are yet to win a premiership, having come up short in 2002. An NRL Grand Final win would take some of the attention away from the union world cup in NZ in 2011, especially if the all blacks manage to choke again. The Warriors seem to have gauged their success against the likes of Brisbane, so a victory against them would give their premiership "legitimacy". With the Broncos participating , it would reengage fans in Qld, who have been left out of the show for 5 years now. A Sharks win over the Dragons would also be good. I'd also love to see a Rabbitohs v Tigers GF. What do you reckon?

Roosters v Souths. It would be like Carlton v Collingwood. Or Tottenham v Arsenal. We hate each other, people would rally behind both teams and it would be very interesting to see the two most traditional teams in the game slog it out.

As a Newcastle supporter, I remember the days when the Knights were everybody's 2nd favourite team. Then we won the 1997 Grand Final against arch-rivals Manly (and in the circumstances that the victory came in ... ie: the last 6 seconds) and the Rugby League world celebrated and was full of good emotions.

With this in mind, I would think the closest we have at the moment to that is maybe South Sydney. They've not won a premiership in a long time (not in my lifetime, and I daresay not in the lifetime of a lot of fans), and constantly battle just to make the Finals. I'd personally love Newcastle to win another premiership soon, however, keeping on topic of this thread, I'd say Souths to beat, maybe, Melbourne (who aren't exactly popular with the RL world these days). A good, hard-fought, close win would do the trick.

This would engage the Melbourne audience who didn't bother to watch this year's NRL GF, which would boost the tv ratings by a decent margin, and provide the 'fairytale' premiership that people love seeing.

Opinon is bias for Dragons to win it, but Seeing the Cowboys, Warriors or Titans winning their first premiership would be good for the game.

Teams for the bad of the game winning would be Bulldogs because of the large of amount of their bad fans it would bring out again or create more, and the Storm simply because its the Storm.

Although as was shown by this GF, an all Sydney Final isn't exactly great from a ratings perspective.

Foundation club beats widely hated shelf company posing as a team.
I like it, but Manly already handed them their arses, then as it turned out they were frauds, hence they don't deserve to be anywhere near the GF for a looooooooong time yet.

Not until the players who benefited from the illegal payments are out of the game.

teams what can defend , unlike with the toyota cup grand final, people dont find all out attacking league exciting, the score line makes it look like a game of union, people want to see games with defence and make it hard for a team to score points.

I'd say Wests vs Souths would go through the roof. Would sell out in like 5 seconds.

But I'd say something like Brisbane vs Parramatta would also rate well and would also boost the TV ratings.

Why would anyone other than their deranged fans want to see South Sydney Russelltohs in a grand final? A whole week of fools jumping out of the woodwork telling me that they've supported the bunnies since 1776, how the 'myrtle and cardinal' are the pride of the league, how they once met Clive Churchill's postman's grandson. Besides a Raiders V anyone GF, a Dragons V Tigers or Tigers V Eels GF would be very decent.

From a screw AFL perspective a Tigers/Panthers/Parra v Gold Coast would be fantastic.
The western sydney fans will mobilize and it'll be really difficult for the afl to get a foothold with fans so engaged, and same deal with gold coast.
NZ would be great to, I don't think many people would begrudge them a win.

Long as Melbourne or Brisbane are nowhere near it.
