Best halves pairing you've seen?

The early 90’s had some amazing combinations.

Daley/Stuart
Walters/Langer
Lyons/Toovey
Florimo/Taylor
Carter/Alexander
Lamb/Polla-Mounter
Kelly/Kusto

Great times

The best era of Rugby League in my opinion, and is it any wonder with halves combos like these...

We had Smith and Goldthorpe yet amazingly still made consecutive grand finals.

Not sure why people say Freddy/Joey for NSW, they actually had a poor record together....lost in 95, they lost the decider together in 98. Lost game 1 in 1999.

Now Daley and Stuart, they owned Origin together

Thurston and Lockyer too.
Thurston and Cronk

TBH Joey and Freddy were a crap halves combo, as was Joey/Lockyer.

Stuart/Daley are the most well balanced and all around greatest ever halves combo.

3 origin series wins in a row and would've been 4 in 5 years if Daley didnt get injured for game 2 1990 (They won game 1 together). The dominance would've continued in 95 if SL didn't ruin the NSW run.

Sterlo & Kenny. Pretty tough to beat that combo.

Tough to beat, but Stuart/Daley still did....multiple times in the early 90s.

While Stuart/Daley were winning origin 1 in 1990 where were Sterlo/Kenny? Watching them on TV. Actually, Sterlo may have been commentating that night.
