Who in your opinion is the best player to never play origin football? Which players were good enough but never got the opportunity? Obviously Kiwis are exempt from this.

I would nominate Preston Campbell. Great Player who was probably never chosen because of his size even though the selectors deny it.

Preston for me also,

The guy is all class, and a true role model for our game

Add to that a GF win and Dally M, he deserved a shot.

Has Offord played Origin, cause he would be another

Presto is the bloke that immediately popped into my head. Absolutely criminal IMO that he hasn't played an Origin match. Especially with the lack of quality halves.

Marc Glanville - Nearly 250 games of NRL and ESL over 13 years, all at a very high standard - three games for Country - no other rep games.

Luke Patten would be one player that springs to mind. People never quite appreciate how important he is to the Dogs. Luke Davico at the peak of his powers at the Raiders was unlucky to not have been selected as much due to injury and the inability to get recognition in Canberra.

Glenn Morrison is another who played well for the Cowboys and Eels in particular but no rep honours apart from a few country jerseys

Presto,Blacklock and Morrison were all unlucky. Considering some of the Nuffys getting a go of late.

Shane Warne, Ronaldo and Michael Jordan never played Origin. So I'll go with them :p

Re league players:- Luke Patten and Glenn Morrison were the two I wanted to nominate - but they've already been mentioned. Maybe Amos Roberts on the wing? I dont remember him getting a run.

In the current crop - Robbie Farah.
