Sorry guys but IMO that song blows dog, awesome intro, you even think its gonna sound kick ass then all of a sudden........... same old boring new chilli peppers, that song made me cry because of all the potential it had but never delivered, the chillis are a retired unit and they sound like a bunch of old croners in modern times, no more hard edge!

but like i said IMO music is all taste and no one is really right or wrong.

For a more mellow intro ,
Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Hear" with that little rift that's sounds like its coming through a mono wireless thats just off the station , then the 12 string lead comes in over the top.....bravo Mr Gilmour and Mr Waters.

I read that the static you can here at the start of the song was recorded from Dave Gilmour's car radio.

Everyone has to get this song and crank it for that great intro that repeats 4 times before drums come in. Truely the greatest intro ever.
