He doesnt have the luxury of running outside Mark Gasnier as the ingenius black white n blue exclaimed earlier. he has to work for his tries. like on saturday night firstly he got us the ball down field with a great kick chase and then got the ball 10 metres out from the line, got rid of 1, 2 , 3 ducked under the other 2, withholding 5 defenders to put the sharks back in the game. and the kick from the touchline was incredible. roosters 14 , covell 8

lol. No ones gonna care if Covell gets MOM in Premier League...I hope thats what you're talking about, because that's the only competition Cronulla can win a title in, in the next few decades.

Cronulla have no chance of taking the title this year, or next year, or the year after that, and so on.


In relation to the question, its one Ive never really thought about. They're both decent players. There is a high argument that Best is only what Gasnier makes him, and that is pretty much right imo. But in the same case, if Cronulla were to play Nigel Vagana inside Covell, I'm sure everyone would sing the praises to Covell aswell.

I can't separate them, as Covell is pretty crap with no one decent inside, and Best would be crap if he didn't have Gasnier inside. Hence how he played when he was, coincidently, with Cronulla.
