Yep got it for Christmas. Been enjoying it as well, I can trust it as a truthful autobiography.

One of the chapters I’ve read today is the one about the 2005 season and once I saw this comment from Vautin I immediately thought of this thread.

Thurston talked about his version of events from that trip.

They had been there earlier on and this girl had sex with 6 Canterbury players (not named) and she had come back to this trip for more. After playing the trial Thurston went and played the pokies till 5 or so. He then was picked up in a cab and they went back to the hotel and this girl wanted to get in with them but they told her to f**k off. She harassed them at the hotel to.

Thurston went to the recovery session and saw her and another player having sex by the pool (with consent). Then a while later there were allegations which in the end was thrown out. Thurston believes she was angry about being told to get f**ked and was out for revenge.
