I still think they should have relocated it in a major retail area of Parra, rather than a side street with no passers by. The Roosters are doing really well with theirs, situated on Bondi Junction Mall near the new Westfields.

You would certainly need to protect Peter Wynns as he has been a long term sponsor of the club, however the disparity between point of sale profit on merchandise compared to royalties would be huge.

Maybe he should up his sponsorship by a few $100k/a and due incentive not to open up a competing retail location ? ;-)

I guess the main thing with having the shop there is they do not have to pay rent to Westfield... it's friggen expensive to have a shop in that joint!!

Jess, I am just saying we will see in the fullness of time, what has allowed them to move with such haste.

Having said that, It is still run on all the LC systems so not that much has changed apart from the location.

I was in there for about 30 seconds yesterday before I was assisted by the guy who worked there...you'd be flat out getting an eyebrow raised at when it was at the LC.

The Parking Revenue has been going down for a while, the revenue goes to Trust and not the local council.

Yeah I also picked up one of the new "Media" polo's in 3XL. I am quite proud of that.

Honestly, if it's anything like Footy Heaven, I can't see it doing Peter Wynn out of business. Especially as he'll beat prices. The only time I've ever found specials through the club is end of season and they're not really jaw dropping sales either.

Any idea if they're open Saturdays?

The Plan is for the store to be open 6 days a week after the official launch.

Currently Monday to Friday.

Also they expect to be open 3 hours before Game time and 1 hour after (as a guideline) on Game Day.
