It's just a public poll, much like the Titans and numerous other sports teams run to select a name.

Was quite keen on naming the team around the variation of the word tribe or tribesmen until I found out that there’s literally hundreds of tribes all of different dress and attire which could cause friction and conflict.

probably best to stick with the hunters or native bird or mammal.
