Another close loss, but a loss it is and it's another game they'd expect to win. In real danger now of not making the finals and seem to be easy cannon fodder now if they do somehow reverse into the finals.

Yep, Strikers the form team in the finals.

Heat started of 5-0 and looked dominant, went 3-6 the rest of the way.

Scorchers got hot in the middle of the comp, ice cold now. Although any team with Beth mooney and Sophie Devine is never going to be taken lightly.

Thunder not exactly breathing fire going into finals either.

Given how badly the Heat have played at home this year, maybe this was the plan all along. Finish 3rd and take the show on the road.
Not sure what total Thunder were chasing, but it wasn't they one that was set. Maybe they thought NRR caried through to next year?

In a couple of years Phoebe Lichfield will be the gun batsman of women's cricket with more experience and Growth.

Should take them to the promised land with a decent squad around her. Just hope the Thunder don't lose her.
