If a double-header was going to occur today, the Melbourne derby should've commenced at 6:05pm, with this game in Perth following at 9:15pm AEDST (6:15pm local). Those two starting times were used on Boxing Day and January 3. Would've got a much larger crowd as well in Perth.

Also, what's the purpose using the Electra stumps? Why are they used in some matches, with the regular red stumps used in the majority of BBL matches?

I would say it is more benefit for tv numbers and revenue as the eastern states is a larger market, particularly as you have the Heat playing
