this just says that cappys job is safe, coaches jobs hinge on winning and we need wins. but to drop 3 key componants of the make up of our team eg manu, mutts and bodene and 2 up and comers eg vete and lisone and 1 dumbass eg hurrell for a game that wr NEED to win is beyond me. sure the club has standards but why not just fine the f**k out of them

Lets be honest, if they all requested a release, I wouldn't keep any of them.

Some of these guys have been through 4 or 5 coaches in their time at the Warriors. It's time for Doyle & McFadden to get the cancer out of the club all together.

Good on Cappy and the Club. They have made the hard decision and have just got to get on with it now. Kearney did the same thing with the Kiwis a couple of years ago after the world cup disaster and it has borne fruit. Hopefully it will do the same for us.

take a look at the Golden State Warriors as a case study in how to turn a club around.
They got new owners, a new general manager, made clever drafts which werent numbers 1 -7 (got curry, green, thompson and barnes), did some great deals with other nba clubs to get the players they wanted (Bogut, Iguadoala and Livingston), got the coaches they wanted (Kerr, Gentry, Walton) and now they have gone from being perenial lightweights to being a historically great team. It wasnt based on getting a Le Bron James or Durant, they started from the top and worked out a plan and look at them now.

Agreed. If we recruited smart, we wouldn't be looking at "Who is the biggest name we can attract" but "Where are the holes in our squad?", and aiming for reliable players. Yeah I know looking at the team now we have holes everywhere, but I honestly thought we'd have looked at the perennial problem of centres before we bought in a new hooker or even a star fullback.

Clearly the club is in turmoil, the players don't respect the coach.

Furthermore, as noted by Rhythm and Stealth clearly Cappy's job is safe. You don't do this in a public way unless you feel you have the backing of the boss.

Going to war with Manu isn't going to help you get the team motivated.

It's almost past the point where I can ever have any enjoyment from this organisation. Most of my teams across codes don't win much, but they're not as batshit as this organisation.

Then we should piss him off and his followers can go with him.

Wellington Wetas Team To be introduced into the NRL. I'll sign up to membership in a heartbeat. This mob loves to ruin hopes and dreams for their fans even with support and top notch equipment backing them.

2016 maybe the year we supporters will start to revolt anything Warriors related. The best reply we can give this mob is no talk no support hard love.

Then we're f**ked. Honestly, we are f**ked.

This won't be popular but I blame the fact that the coach is not up to the job, and soon I will blame the CEO if he doesn't clear this shit up, get us a coach who can actually coach at this level and give us long-suffering f**king fans something to be happy about. We are at the end of our tether with this shit.

At the end of the day (again, this won't be popular) I feel this is all a bit of a cry for help, or a show of 'we can't win under this mug'. Yes, our guys are completely unprofessional. But to me, they see a completely inept coach who is unable to get them where they want to go. They could bust their arses but they see their coach doesn't know how to coach them to beat good sides. They might scrape the 8 but nothing more. I truly believe the likes of Matulino, Thompson, Manu want to work hard - and have in the past. But they know a shit coach when they see one. It is absolute human nature in these conditions to slack off a bit, cause a bit of trouble like this and sub-consciously (or consciously) hope it leads to the coach going.

Which it should.

If this leads to the coach being a protected species and getting a player clearout over a him clear out, yeah I'll go find other things to do on a weekend.

Jim Doyle, get rid of our coach, tell the players they are on their last notice or they'll be shipped off somewhere else, and give us our f**king club back. We're sick of it.

I wonder if these 6 are the "insurgents ", the guys behind the player power we hear of...

God as if things couldn't get worse. The reserves game will be worth tuning in for, could be interesting. Having watched the Reserves in North Sydney a few weeks back, the players coming up all deserve a shot. At least they will play with enthusiasm and pride in an effort to carve out a permanent spot. Still, hard to see us beating a team we haven't beaten in 9 years with this many players missing...

How many last chances/warnings do some players get? Surely after the last 5 years this wouldn't be the first.

Sorry, but while Cappy might not be the answer, changing coach is not the magic fix some are hoping it will be. The coach may go, but there are some players who absolutely have to f**k off with him.

The club is f@@ked, Sunday's game is lost before we turn up, Matulino needs to go he is involved every time something like this happens, Packer incident included. Disappointed in Bodene, he is just about our best this year, Manu should know better but is not the first time, maybe needs to go too, Hurrell can f@@k off, Lisone & Vete have been led astray by shit stirrers. I will support this club until the day I die, but I am so f@@ked off right now, have seen some shit at this club over last 22 years, this is possibly worst moment aside from 2000 and the Ali debacle.

Some reports are saying Hurrell wasn't there. He is being disciplined about another matter.

Players can get f*cked. Now theyre leaking "inside sources" to the media saying they hate Cappy.

Is this now the..... 4th coach these players have reportedly hated? Cleary, Bluey, Elliot and now Cappy?

As much shit as guys like Wright, Ayshford, Lillyman, Gubb etc get at least these guys act like professionals on the field and off it. They've got heart.

I'd take guys like that any day over some of our homegrown juniors that seem believe all they have to do is pull on a shirt on a saturday to earn a paycheck.

The 6 of them need to go, now. Simple.

I find it interesting that the players you mentioned who actually give a shit & give their all for the jersey, all have 1 thing in common. Enough of the politically correct shit, the 6 blokes that have done the wrong thing should never play again for the Warriors.
