Both brilliant in the 80s. Both went softer in the 90s, Megadeth less so I think.

Dillinger Escape Plan are a good example of a band that people perceive to have sold out. They were always an experimental mathcore band but after "Ire Works" was released a lot of their fans were divided.

Shame. Really, really good band.

There aren't many bands that can capture several different moods and atmospheres with little to no musical aggression; some of Akefeldt's stuff is harrowing and haunting, and even gloomy and depressive. Yet it's simple and a paradox of sorts because it doesn't feel so.
