Biggest waste of talent ever

Phil Adamson is one, the better Adamson going through the grades but never translated it to the footy field.

Owen Craigie stands out as well, such a naturally gifted player who burst onto the scene, Souths have a similar talent now in Matt Mundine who could go the same way.

One other one that came through in that successful undefeated Roosters Flegg side of 2003 and played with the Raiders eventually is Jermaine Ale. Now he could have been anything, but ended up a flop. Played Aus Schoolboys and everything

Another one who reached the top then crumbled was Russell Richardson. He was a very good centre on the rise then plummeted out into oblivion.

Hasn't played much FG (if any) but Peewee Moke?

Played at a number of clubs, had big wraps on him but could never make grade.

yeh he was a good player, one of the roosters best in the 2004 jf gf, but didnt quite kick on, was part of the premierswhip winning bankstown bulls side in the nsw cup, even gus commented on him saying he was a good player but hasnt managed to crack first grade. i mean but hope isnt up for him, look at jeff robson and ryan tandy those two players before this yeaqr where plugging away in reggies but ended up in a first grade gf

Richie Williams from a few years ag. Played with Souths, St George and Penrith. The kid had real potential, just couldn't keep his mouth shut or control himself off the field.

Nathan "Tingha" Blacklock

Top try scorer for three consecutive seasons.

Never played a State of Origin game.

Wasted talent right there.

So you were pleased NSW selected Adam MacDougall and Jamie Ainscough only to go 40-14 in 2001 because they had "good defence" ?

Brett Mullins -should have been the best Fullback of all time.In 94'/95' absolutely untouchable, got injured was never really the same again.
Ken Nagas -Graceful, speed to burn bad injuries stuffed him.
Julian O'Neill- miles of talent, but an absolute tool.

Jermaine Ale. Man I was excited when we won the bidding war for that guy. He was going to be the next immortal.

Then after annhailating all and sundry in lower grades just fizzled out into nothing...

Think he's running around in the Newcastle comp. now.
