I can't wait to get a good look at it.

There is a very high knee & Bird goes backwards & away.

The right angle will be good.

I have seen it 4 or 5 times today, I didn't see it last night, and my first reaction was that he took a couple of backward steps and lined him up, then came in and kneed him in the head.

On thinking about your summation, I would like another look because the second time I watched it I thought to myself, he either said something to Bird, or did something to Bird... Then I saw it another couple of times and no matter how I see it, I can't make any excuse for it... retaliation has NEVER gotten anyone off!!

The whole team was less the ordinary last year with exceptions made for Sully, Hilder, Nuts and a handful of the younger forwards like Newtown and big Keith.

Newton wasn't so good in the Parra game last year ;-)

Newton was thrown in at the deep end and IMHO he did an admirable job out there. We need him and Mick Russon in the team now.

No we don't
If that inexperience is out there, add another 20 points to last nights scoreline.

Things aren't that bad.

look at the Knights.

Isemonger should not be within 100m of the first grade squad ever again. Nutley and Beattie should think themselves lucky.

Birdy is a good young kid but last night was a shocker

That's the thing
He's NOT a good young kid

He's a lair and he is only thinking of getting his face in the papers and boosting his profile so he can pick up cheap tarts around the joint

He lacks discipline and doesnt have what it takes to be a true professional

Well you obviously don't know f**k all about Birdy. I grew up with Greg, played with and against him, and am a personal friend of Greg and his family, and without trying to stand up for what he did, it was in no way indicitive of Greg's true personality. It was a culmination of inexperience and frustration, and I'm sure he'll regret it for the rest of his career. That said, it was disgusting, but this is exactly what he doesn't need, some cumwad making stupid comments about him with no basis in reality.

You're absolutley right. What he really needs a swift kick up his clacker. Since you're his mate, would you care to do the honors? :D

Sure, dumb!! Dumbest thing ever becuase it was never going to do any damage & was always going to get caught.
Lets look at some other incedents.

Stephen kearney
Breaks a guys neck in vicous, deliberate spear tackle. 4 or 6 weeks?

Kearney got 12 weeks for his spear tackle on Jarrod McCraken ;-)

Thanks
earl I wasn't sure. I knew he was out for while but I thought that most of the time was due to an arm injury or something.
OK So theres the standard, 12 weeks for a broken kneck.
Now whats his name from the Tigers that got Mono from the Raiders. 10 weeks?

I'm none of them. That's a band called Frankenbok, of which I am not a member. Thanks for your wonderful insight into why Greg is the person he is.

And as for the kick in the clacker, believe me, he'll get one from his old man!!

But if Bird was ya kid, surely you wouldnt admit it?!?!?!

OK, we may differ on this issue, and though I'm sure it's been said before, I gotta give you credit for that avatar! 8)

Anyways, I'm sticking by Greg, not for what he did last night, but the who he is, and the gallons of talent he has.
