See, now I can go and teach Greg that people can settle problems with words and not with cheap violence

But he's not at our club
So I couldnt really care less what he does to disgrace the Knights jumper
My immediate concern is with the blue black and white
Shireshark-I knew him as kid and youve nailed him to a tee.Even when he was apoligising I could still see that childhood smugness.ShireShark said:Birdy is a good young kid but last night was a shocker
That's the thing
He's NOT a good young kid
He's a lair and he is only thinking of getting his face in the papers and boosting his profile so he can pick up cheap tarts around the joint
He lacks discipline and doesnt have what it takes to be a true professional

yeah he knw he did wrong but there was something in his face that told a different story ...something not right there.
ShireShark said:You cant compare a dirty cheap shot merchant like Greg Bird to the best cricketer in several generations Shane Warne. Warne is a great man and they are simply incomparable.
You'll note that when he apologised he apologised first to the club. The fact is he apologised because he was forced to at a pre arranged press conference. The victim was third on the list.
Forgivable eh?Birdy didnt something low in the context of the game, but thats forgivable
his private life, nothing illegalsex scandals
never been charged, taking a diuretic is far from illegaldrug charges
has never been accused of, or convicted of match fixingmatch fixing
Warne is the greatest bowler in historyWarnie has done takes no shine off his cricketing skill
Greg Bird a mediocre footballer at bestBirdy did takes no shine off his football skill
What about taking bribes?
Bird is far from a mediocre footballer
