He still gets paid the money if he gets dropped or not.

He obviously has no pride and wouldn't give a toss, providing he gets the moolah.

I don't understand that mentality. Just because the club is paying massive overs for a player doesn't mean they should have a mortgage on a first grade jersey. Underperforming players should be dumped to NSW Cup regardless of salary. It will create more competition for jerseys.

I'd rather pay him that money in reserves than in first grade where he is wasting space of someone who will put in 100%

He actively avoided work. Coming out of our own end set himself two or three wide on a narrow blind

Glad someone else has noticed.

He also is the 'put pressure on the kicker guy'.........which, you will notice, means he plays absolutely no part in the next set of six because he has hit the kicker and is in the ground 40m upfield when tedesco returns it meaning he cant recover in time for a hitup. Hence four hitups per game. Now theres one merkin who doesnt have your back when you need him.

Sell the farker and take a loss.

Adam Blair 72 minutes, 4 hitups, 34 metres
BMM 35 minutes, 3 hitups, 16 metres
Seumanugagai 25 minutes, 5 hitups, 54 metres

That says everything you need to know
Hell Ava was our only forward (save Farah) to register a tackle break last night

Benji and Blair really don't look interested in playing, the Tigers should move them on, just like the Panthers did with Jennings and Lewis.

In hindsight a good move for all parties. Penrith have got a real good buy in whare. While not as good as Jennings at least he puts in each week and Sika is a great but in replacement of Lewis and smith has picked his game up too

Liam Fulton 65 minutes, 8 hit-ups, 60 metres & 39 tackles. One missed tackle. Blair had 7 missed tackles.

If Potter wants to start getting any backing by the fans then Blair will be dropped from the 17 next week. I actually don't even think it's that big a decision and I will be shocked and sickened if it doesn't happen.

Any forward with more missed tackles than runs, let alone hit ups deserves to be dropped.

f**king woeful.

Nothing can be done about that. Keeping him in the starting lineup, benching him, dropping him or shopping him around, he still gets paid. What concerns me is the unwillingness to bench or drop him and the comments from Blair saying the coach is happy with him doing the little things makes me wonder if the coach really is happy with what Blair is doing.

Prior to the Souths game Potter did make some public comments along the lines he was happy with Blair, i found it at the time a big worry that a coach would have those thoughts when 99.9% of fans and the sports media think otherwise.

Don't worry about hit-ups and effective tackles. The little things in football, and life, are the most important. Blair cuts the oranges, leads the team song, decides which jersey we're going to wear and puts pressure on the kicker, thereby justifying his 500k a year price tag.

Honestly, each time he takes out the kicker I pray that he'll be suspended.

I gather what he means by 'doing the little things'is another way of describing Blairs cheap shots, leg pulls, late tackles, chicken wings etc.

I suspect / hope that was just Potter being supportive of Blair prior to the match. What will be most interesting si comments this week. I'm sure following Benji's benching last week, he wont be benched this week. Maybe its Blair turn now. Lets see.

For the record- I'd drop him, not bench him. He aint worth the effort. I'd promote someone from State Cup.
