Tend to agree. It is Rothfield, so the natural reaction would be to assume it's a blatant fabrication.

Potter is not to blame for our current state however we can only blame the coach for selecting Blair week in week out.

The last time someone mentioned KPI's at WT he got sacked. It's a very simple system, "Adam Blair your a pussy, tonight's key performance indicators are 5 hit ups in the first half and 5 in the second, if u fail to meet these milestones u can have another crack next week in NSW cup"

Having said that the lazy merkin would probably prefer it that way, no pride nor shame if that's the best he can go after being blasted by Tallis.

He did make 34 tackles in that game. He also missed 6 but still, 40 attempted tackles in a game is not that bad.

We are still paying Bryce Gibbs and Heinington's contracts so i really don't know if we should be offloading yet another player and paying his way.

Letting Gibbs, Fifita, Heinington and Ryan go were the stupidest moves our club has ever made.

We are like the Gillard government, we are paying a lot of people a lot of money who are not doing anything, both at our club and away from our club. Maybe Wayne Swan is the man for the CEO's job because he will be looking for a gig come September

The beauty of a owner with reach. It gets you access to a plethora of non cap counted third party arrangements

I can't work out this Ellis thing.

The official word was that he ASKED for a release and it was granted. If this was the case we can't be paying him.

If we are paying him, it must mean that he did not ask for a release and instead we forced him out and agreed to pay a portion of his final years' salary.

If this is the case I am lost for words.

It means we likely under paid him to ease salary cap pressure and we still owe it even though he is gone.

I know Noycey underpaid his first season

Rumours circling that we are trying to offload Blair and the Storm are keen to take him back. Please let this be true.

They will no doubt take him for a fraction of what we pay him. Then Blair will add to the long list of players we are paying to not play for the Tigers.

Okay maybe let Blair go, but then who replaces him? Tigers haven't even looked to sign any notable players.

I agree but who cares. The useless waste of space can go. I'd even release him immediately. I'd be happy using one of our second stringers until someone better comes along. At least they will try.

Edit- next year could even push Ayshford up to second row and that would make space for Richards as a centre with Lawrence (if he stays) leaving Tedesco as fullback and K & N as the wingers.

Bulk Sironen up over the off season and he will give more value than Blair in the second row.

Dont disagree just putting options out there. You can see elsewhere I've suggested others. I'm just trying to fit Richards into the side. Not just me but others have suggested Ayshfords future could be in backrow. Richards has been playing centre in ESL lately. He can play fullback, wing or centre.

More than anything I'm trying to keep K & N on the wings for next year, they deserve it.

Yeh fair enough...I just wish we'd recruit where its needed, rather than - as seems to be the case - picking up opportunistic signings and trying to fit them in....

Yeah, I have to say I cant see much point in signing Richards except as backup for K & N unless they want to fit him elsewhere. Like everything I suppose they were in negotiations for some time and N hadnt really come on to the scene for the other wing spot.

Lote's had it and Richards is a good, experienced and versatile player to have back. Wish we had him for the in between period and not lost him after to 05 grand final to ESL.. Oh that try in the GF................. magnificent.

I think you'll find Nofoaluma may eventually play in the centres, with Richards on the wing.

Still, I don't really like the Richards signing as he will be 32 when next season kicks off.

I see Sironen as perfect to play a Luke Lewis type role. He should base his game straight of that blueprint. Very similar size, ball skills. He needs to watch tapes of the angles that Lewis runs.
