Moses will be a better 5/8 then Milford. Moses is struggling right now because his halves partner is as inexperienced as he is. Milford is playing with Ben Hunt next to him, arguably the best 7 in the game. Give him a year or two and you'll see what all the hype was about or rewind the tapes to his jr days, actually just watch NSW U20s vs QLD U20s match from 2014.

Moses gave Milford an absolute masterclass.

Milford wouldve spanked Moses if he were playing behind that NSW pack. If you want to go back to junior days Milford was always a better prospect than Moses.

If he had been outstanding for years it doesn't matter if he has a quiet game but for origin he doesn't have the runs on the board to have a quiet game before the side is selected.

I think hes one of the raiders best players but he does have a few issues

Get real. Milford played behind a great pack which was on par with the NSW pack and it was an even battle throughout. The difference was Moses, Mata'utia and Mamo who carved Milford, Lee and Folau. Milford was always a better overall player, but that's not at 5/8 that was at fullback.

No, it really isn't.

He showed an improved kicking game yesterday, which is one of the aspects of his game people have been saying needs work.

He was solid. Milford & Moses were terrible and directly conceded tries with piss weak defence again. Milford let 4 in :lol:.

He is like Josh Reynolds a bit. If the team is playing well with the forwards getting a roll on he will be very good. In a tightly contested game he will be quiet as a lot his game is second phase abd he cant exactly ball play or kick a team to wins yet.

He was pretty good today in a side that looked awful at times but he was just as guilty of playing like a busted arse in that first 16 minute period.

Mitch Cornish 8 tackles and 4 missed tackles though....ugh not good Mitch.

At the moment Austin is one of the more dominant running 5/8. I would have put him on the bench for NSW as he can play in a few positions

Yeah I bagged him earlier in the year but I think Milf will end up the best 5/8 of the three mentioned if he can sort his defence out to a half decent level.

Milford definitely had his best game yet in the halves last night.
I think the knights edge defense was pretty f**king awful and lacking in punch... now our edge defense stinks, but i dont think Papalii and Sia are going to give him the freedom to do what he did last night (or at least i hope they dont)

Here's the thing though, Ferguson, Dugan, Carney, Zillman, whomever it is, all of them seem to come back back and absolutely f**king give it to us. So im fully expecting Milford to have a massive game this week.
