when i first saw this thread I couldnt believe my eyes but then i noticed it was done basically before the 2015 season even started
honestly watching blake austin play is one of the best things, his speed strength and agility is a nightmare for defenders. Unfortunately i believe he possesses poor playmaking ability vision wise and definitely needs an experienced number 7 to close out a game although to his credit i noticed an impressive improvement in his kicking towards the end of the season which i felt he was a 4/10 at during the regular season overall (my favourite thing about him is his determination it gives me goosebumps)
Milf on the other hand is a step above, with more speed, more agility and arguably the same strength milford is also a nightmare but he also possesses good vision (being an ex fullback helps) and some of those kicks he put in play were strategically brilliant. Although he did used to play in the halves (with nikorima actually fun fact right there) i think the transition from half to fullback and back to half is often under appreciated and is much harder than people think
overall I believe the two players strive in their respected teams and i cant wait for Austin to be partnered with a smart half like Adam R who will allow Austin to cut loose and test the QLD defence every chance he gets
but IMO
Milford > Austin
Milford = 7.2 / 10
