Guys - it's always cheap junk! And it's exactley what other club's fans get as well!
but in the past the cheap junk has only cost $35 ... now its $80

yeah footy club membership is now included - valued at $25 ... but I dunno how enticing it is for non-ticketed members :?

It's fine if your a STH and get as part of your package but for us out of towners it seems like we may have been dudded again but will wait til the pack turns up in a few weeks to decide for sure.

Apparently your circumstances are completly different as an out of towner so you probably shouldn't complain. That is only for STH's. ;-)

yeah, out of towners are only allowed to tell people what to do.

It is only up to city based supporters to financially keep the clubs head above water :sarcasm:

Havent seen the cap this year, but in past years the STH cap has normally been of pretty good quality.

Last years B&G army cap was very cheep and the STH cap was not to bad at all. This year, the "Members Cap" is about half way in between both, but defiantly not as high a quality as last years STH cap.

i didn't think the cap was too bad. It is smaller than it could be but it's not the width that's the problem, it just kind of sits on the top of my head because you can't pull it down far enough. I'm with strides on this one. I got the pack as part of my season tickets so it doesn't bother me. However i would feel a little ripped off if i just bought the blue blood pack and paid $80 for it. I guess it all goes to help keep the club going though.
What i find odd is that everyone is getting the blue and gold army hat and stickers. i thought the B&G Army were ones that bought those specific season tickets. The ones on the Sterling hill
I suppose though that wouldn't really be fair to not call other members and ticket holders in the other sections part of the B&G Army

Im not sure but i think you may need the season ticket to pick it up but apart from that i dont see why you couldnt give both to someone and they pick it up for you. best to ring the BGA shop up.

Terrific. ;-)

I'm more asking about those who paid for postage and whether anyone has had it delivered yet.

wasn't there a later email sent out that said due to something holding up production, the packs that required postage wouldn't be out until early March?

The people that chose to pick up their packs didn't have to wait for everything to be ready at the same time, so we got our vouchers earlier..

something like that...

Email - 26th Feb said:
MEMBERSHIP CARD DELIVERY UPDATE

As communicated last week the membership team have been working tirelessly to process membership applications. This is a great situation for the club as the interest in the Pirtek Parramatta Eels continues to grow. Currently we have two major delays in the member pack distribution - Membership Cards and the 2009 Parramatta Year Book.
The Membership Cards are expected at our office early next week. We have organised additional staff to process and distribute the remaining memberships by Friday 5th March 2010. Please allow until Tuesday 9th March 2010 before contacting the Membership Team.
For those who have paid for postage of packs unfortunately the delay in receiving The 2009 Parramatta Year Book is expected back from the printers late next week. Again we will be then finalising all the packs and sending them for posting by the weekend of the 6th March 2010.
Again we apologise for the delay and sincerley appreciate your patience, however these have been out of our control.

I didn't get that email, but then, I don't get ANY emails. That's another story though.
