Blue and Gold Army

That's right. After sitting with the EWO for 2 solid years now and I will take no credit away from the guys. All top blokes, Jesus, Blueandgolddust, Hurriflatch and co.

Myself, Ron Jeremy, <Uptheeels> and co are deciding to bring back the Official Blue and Gold Army.

That's right, Starting from next season, We will be situated in reserved seats in the Northern Terrace. We will stand for the full 80 minutes, Have the banners and the voices to be a very vocal army and offcourse taking nothing away from the EWO, As they are still very good mates of ours, I just think it is time to make a second army.

Now the Army is recruiting and the more the merrier offcourse. We need a committed team. A team that aren't scared to sing, stand and drink as we cheer our eels to the final series next season.

We will be offcourse going to every away game possible aswell. If you are interested in joining the Blue and Gold Army for next season, Mention it here. I have sent Pm's out to a few people who I especially would enjoy joining the Army. We will have banners made etc. But the first step is to get the numbers. A group of 10-20 to start with would be excellent and we are starting early which is good to see. We will be buying season tickets in the next few months so speak up now.

Cheers.

I don't really drink, and I haven't got much money, but when I do I'd love to get involved!

What better way to spend a day than with my extended family of eels fanatics?

Well, You don't have to drink. And getting a season ticket pass saves you 30% of what you would be paying if you just went to the games each week. We pay it all at once then you are set for the whole year Eelementary. Aslong as your committed, Welcome aboard.

Oh, I don't mind a beer occassioanlly.

I've just had bad domestic circumstances RE: alcohol, which is probably better.

Any idea how much it would cost for the season ticket, 'cos I got a couple of hundred bucks ... I think...

Should be a good atmosphere. Hoping to make it to as many games as I can. And you need more than the occasional beer Eelementary, we'll get it into ya.

So 5 committed full-timers and 1 part timer. Strider will come once, and be hooked. He will stand with us the rest of the year he will be that convinced.

All groups come together to form the Blue and Gold Army, there are sub-groups within this Army, always have and always will in my eyes.

The true Blue & Gold Army includes ALL supporters of this great club that most of us love to death!

Look, The Blue and Gold Army finished long ago, Everyone has split up now, There is the parramaniacs, EWO, now the Blue and Gold Army. We aren't going to all sit together because we all have different areas that we sit. We are a new army with an old name. Each Sub-Group sit in there individual section, Yes we may all be called the Blue and Gold Army but this is the name we have created for our Army. At away games I am sure we will all sit together but for home games we have our respected areas.

Nothing wrong with having a few separate groups. We're all Parra supporters here, we should be cheering together, not arguing. A bit of passion spread around is always good.

Get some chants that the groups can do against eachother.....ie. one group chants, then the other, and back again.....work as separate pieces, but together

As per my PM to ParraMatt, you may want to have a chat to the Colnel about the Blue and Gold army ;-)
