Considering the difference in squad quality yeah, I do.

The whole point of this was to highlight to you that Berbatov isn't a lazy player you guys just don't notice his contributions.

I've never labelled Berbatov as a lazy player you douche. I just don't think he's a tough enough player. I thought you would have picked that up by the numerous times i've stated it, but hey.

man city 30 million euro bid for Eto'o apparently.
Gees city have spent a motza on forwards recently

Jo-£18m
Robinho-£32.5m
Bellamy-£10m
Caicedo-£5.2m
Bojinov-£5.75
Benjani-£3.87m (rising to potentially £7.6)
Santa Cruz-£17.5m

thats £92.82m just on strikers in the past few years

Head to head in 2007/08 Berba started 2 games more and came off the bench the same amount of times and scored one more goal and had 4 more assists. Berbatov has proven to be as consistent if not even more than Tevez.

Berbatov doesn't seem to create goals like Tevez does.. I'd be interested to see stats on where his goals were scored from compared to Tevez..

I'd expect a fire sale in the January transfer window

Berbatov is better than Tevez.

Tevez has no first touch, is a poor finisher, and is not very creative. The only thing he does well is run round challenging.

Alan Smith did that.

Yes i do watch Tevez play, and Berbatov. I support United. I watch them every week!!

Statistics don't tell the whole story.. Hence my point about where goals are scored from, or since you are hung up on it where the goal assist comes from..

I don't watch every Man U game but i watch most and obviously watched Tevez when he was at West Ham.. Based on that and without looking at stats i think he is a much better player.

No, they really do tell the story. They tell a story of a man who, for all his running around, didn't produce enough and another man who, for all his perceived "pea heartedness" and "laziness," got the job done when required.

I do watch every United game. Berbatov is better. I'm not saying Tevez is a bad player, i loved his commitment to the cause. He just lacks that extra bit of skill on the ball that seperates him from the top players. I would of liked United to keep him but £25 million is to much.

Best example is the Tevez goal against City. Watch it. A big looping ball by Fletcher, controlled brilliantly by Berbatov over his shoulder then a pass to Tevez with a quality finish. If the roles were reserved, could Berbatov of finished like that. I believe so. Could Tevez of controlled that long pass? No chance. Thats the difference. Its small, but at the top level, its the difference.

oh and back on topic (city), Etoo is set to reject City and see out his last year of his contract. Then it will be a big pay day for him, and nothing for Barca. Barca are said to be a bit miffed by it...

From my understanding Eto'o wants to play champions league football but if Man City and Barca agree a deal he'd be happy to sign for City
''In theory he wanted to play in the Champions League, but if Manchester City have an offer accepted, we would be delighted to go there,''
thats the quote from his agent

Now all the united fans will carry on that Tevez was sh*t and they never wanted him.

A lot did. I didn't. I think he played on his heels to much, had no first touch and didn't score enough. That was before he started crying to the media.

The issue was the silly amount of money Kia wanted for him. 25 million, stupid money plus he wanted to be the best paid player at the club. There was a reason he was dropped for our big games you know.

Apparently City are gonna win the league now. Should make them extra Bitter when they fail to make it into the top 4 next season.

the only bitter football fans i know are united ones. Always carrying on about City.

City was going to win the league even before we signed Tevez ;)

I just find it funny that United fans spent the backend of last season singing songs about tevez and begging old bacon face to sign him. Now that City have him he is rubbish and they never wanted him.

Can't argue with that. apparently Adebayor is close to signing with your mobs, how many strikers do you want, You have Tevez, Santa Cruz, Caicedo, Robinho, Bojinov, Chad Evans, Benjani, Bellamy and if reports are true add Adebayor into that mix

Surely if Man City don't sneak in to the top 4 or maybe at least top 6 then Mark Hughes is goneskies!!

Then you obviously don't know many football fans. You lot of been going on for years about big bad "Moneybags" United. City is different we are told, a proper Manchester club thats all about the people. er right, as soon as some money came along you grab it of anyone. Be it an oil sheik or a Thai criminal. What are United bitter about? We should of won the league 4 years in a row? Gettign to the last two champs league finals were not good enough. Please do tell.

You lot sold a mug to celebrate beating united?

The booing was pathetic. A few united fans making themselves look silly. A lot of those fans just want Glazier to spend money.

City won't win the league.

The players are joining city for money. oh and the fact that no-one else wants these players. Kaka? Berbatov? top players turn you down so you got someone who wasn't good enough for United (he left because he didn't get games) an Arsenal reject (the fans did a brochure to get rid of him). A crock from the mighty Blackburn, and a money grabber from a mid table team.

yeah, dead good.
