Then you obviously don't know many football fans. You lot of been going on for years about big bad "Moneybags" United. City is different we are told, a proper Manchester club thats all about the people. er right, as soon as some money came along you grab it of anyone. Be it an oil sheik or a Thai criminal. What are United bitter about? We should of won the league 4 years in a row? Gettign to the last two champs league finals were not good enough. Please do tell.

You lot sold a mug to celebrate beating united?

The booing was pathetic. A few united fans making themselves look silly. A lot of those fans just want Glazier to spend money.

City won't win the league.

The players are joining city for money. oh and the fact that no-one else wants these players. Kaka? Berbatov? top players turn you down so you got someone who wasn't good enough for United (he left because he didn't get games) an Arsenal reject (the fans did a brochure to get rid of him). A crock from the mighty Blackburn, and a money grabber from a mid table team.

yeah, dead good.

If you haven't got a chip on your shoulder about City then why are you sniffing round the City thread?

The fans can want Glazier to spend money, problem is he hasn't got any. All he has is debt.

United cant afford his fee, Tevez, Tevez.
Now he plays for Man City Tevez, Tevez.
You made us change the f**ken words,
We bet you've shagged a load of birds.
Carlos Tevez plays for Man City!

Have a cry Wireman. Just face it that City have some money and are coming.

We can't all make our fortune of the back of an aeroplane crash.

You do realise that is nonsensical, right? We paid the fee, so we could afford it, but its best not to let facts get in the way of a mediocre song.

Wow, that's real classy.

Now all the united fans will carry on that Tevez was sh*t and they never wanted him.

I've always maintained that Berbatov is better than Tevez. A couple of important goals in his last couple of matches and a few United fans got all excited about him, forgetting the crap he'd served up for the rest of his league games.

 As if that even deserves a response. This is coming from a club that every year has basically based it's success on how it performs in 2 derby matches against us because it's too pathetic to win any silverware.

As for not being able to afford the transfer fee for Tevez, we offered him 22 million as the most we were prepared to pay for him. Even that was over inflating his worth, now you idiots have had to fork out 25 million, good luck with that.

God it's going to be amusing when you lot still finish behind Everton and Villa in the league.

So Rag Scum were willing to pay 22m, we went to 25.5m and over-paid? Wow, I didn't realise 3.5m was that much money in the EPL...

£22 million was way more than he is worth. We got out of jail with that one.
Agree and disagree. I think Tevez is worth that, but not to us. With Rooney and Berbatov as our other options, we needed our third striker to be someone who would be more capable of running in behind the defenders and score some goals, now that we no longer have Ronaldo making up the difference. Tevez would have been pointless overkill, firstly because he doesn't bring anything different, secondly because he would've thrown a massive strop if Welbeck or Macheda (two players who would provide something different) were chosen ahead of him. As such, I prefer having Owen, even though I'll be the first to admit he was far from my 1st choice.

I know you're a City fan so intelligence would be a miracle but did I not say that 22 million was already over-inflating his worth? Then you guys went and whacked another 3 mill onto that figure. Good for City, apparently they think they can crack the top 4 playing 11 strikers based on their recruiting.

Yeah, i pretty much agree with that assessment. Still don't think he is worth the money, but the whole market has gone silly recently.

Well with Adebayor apparently passing his medical and Santa Cruz, Taylor, Barry and Tevez signed I think it is time Citeh fixed their biggest worry - defence.

Honestly, I think the perfect signing for Citeh would be Lúcio - he wants to leave and the board will let him go so you wouldn't pay too much, he has the experience, maturity and leadership qualities (should be Bayern captain IMO) and in a World Cup year you would expect to see (in theory) nothing short of Lúcio's best. Plus he loves to get forward. Granted he didn't have the best of seasons last term but you hardly rate off anybody of that calibre. Throw in JT if you did take him away and suddenly you guys are genuine top 4 contenders on paper.

Is Hughes capable of keeping all of those attacking players happy? Poor old Carlos looks like he'll end up on the bench again with Robinho, Ireland and Adebayor at the very least ahead of him.

Santa Cruz and Bellamy (31 million pound combined) sure are expensive subs. Surely now as mentioned they will focus on defense, unless its Florentino Perez that's secretly in charge.

Ah, the stropy Rags are great to watch.

I'll assume you don't know what your Babbling on about. Championship player? eh?

Ade doesn't want to go to city. He is desperate for Milan to sign him.

I wonder if anymore top teams want to get rid of players, City will take any reject of anyone. Bayern want to get of Lucio? City will take him, here Bayern, have 20 million... Muppets. Bitter, bitter muppets.
