blues origin 2015

Go and rewatch game 2 last year, you were nowhere near that number. Your rabble of a state wont back your pathetic football team and for good reason.

Yeah right. Your observation based on a few snatches you saw of the ground on TV makes it official eh :alcho::blahb:

 Oh your bitterness is so delicious, you poor simple f**ktard.

One of the greatest Origin atmospheres of all time in game 2 last year, and your softcock state was too busy weeping to sell out your little stadium in game 3 last year.

Yeah well your high if you think there were 80 spare seats last year in game 2. Your level of kidding yourself is akin to the blues belief they are a true representation of what the blues once were.

fkn Gee up of a state.

Had it with Canberra fans. Biggest bunch of bitches on here. They offer no arguments just continual bitching and moan about why certain players were chosen over there own. f**k off, seriously, no one wants you on here.

You have two teams?
Do you have two Mothers as well?
Or none because you are a sour little c*n t

Game 2 team I'd pick:

1. Matt Moylan
2. Alex Johnston
3. Josh Dugan
4. Josh Morris
5. Michael Jennings
6. Blake Austin
7. Adam Reynolds (Jamie Soward if Reynolds isn't fit)
8. James Tamou
9. Robbie Farah
10. Aaron Woods
11. Beau Scott
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Paul Gallen (c)

14. Trent Merrin
15. David Klemmer
16. Luke Lewis
17. Jack Bird

I'd consider Dugan on the wing because he's better under the high ball, but Jennings is much faster and would be better in attack. I'm loathe to drop Fifita because he is bloody good, but he had a very quiet game tonight. Jackson would be unlucky, but there's only so many spots, and Gallen and Lewis are must picks for mine. Merrin needs more time on the paddock. Also, if we're going to have a 4th forward playing limited minutes, much better to pick a player like Austin, Bird, Peats, Hinchcliffe, or Rein - someone who can play an impact role, give Farah a rest, cover hooker and/or halves and/or the backline in the case of injury.

Obviously I also have one eye on future series. After tonight's debacle, I think we have to. No use throwing everything at winning this series with old hands, losing anyway, then leaving ourselves behind the 8 ball for future series with no young players with Origin experience to call on when the old farts call it a day/get punted. We made this mistake after 2005. Let's not f**king make it again.

Likely team:

1. Josh Dugan
2. Daniel Tupou
3. Michael Jennings
4. Josh Morris
5. Will Hopoate
6. Mitchell Pearce
7. Trent Hodkinson
8. James Tamou
9. Robbie Farah
10. Aaron Woods
11. Beau Scott
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Paul Gallen (c)

14. Trent Merrin
15. David Klemmer
16. Greg Bird or Luke Lewis
17. Joshua Jackson

This team is fantastic tbh.. Except i wouldn't have james there yet. Not sure who else to put in though.

maybe lewis, i'm loathe to give jackson another run, he just doesn't do enough work at ANY level

Im a doggies fan, jackson is great at club level and was great in city/country, but he was very disappointing tonight. Way below his usual standards. I don't know whether I'd give him another run or go with a returninf Lewis or someone of that mould.

5. Michael Jennings
6. Blake Austin
7. Sir James

14. Trent Merrin
15. David Klemmer

Not enough Josh in your backline. And Sir James gets a run.

Swap Pearce for Reynolds and you would really leave out Merrin?

pearce was close to our best tonight, snowflakes chance in hell he'll be dropped.

i've had enough of merrin not offering any impact off the bench, better off going the spot to a bloke who wants a chance to make a name for himself

I try staying as neutral and objective as I can in regards to rep selections. So despite my dislike of the Dragons as a rival of the Dogs (great respect for their football this year though), Merrin just doesn't cut it out for me tbh. I'm not sure what it is, as he is another that is fantastic at club level but fails to replicate it on the big stage.

For gods sake, pick Reynolds even if it means ripping that bung thumb off and playing with a prosthetic.
