pearce was close to our best tonight, snowflakes chance in hell he'll be dropped.

i've had enough of merrin not offering any impact off the bench, better off going the spot to a bloke who wants a chance to make a name for himself

Besides throwing the pass to Scott, what else did he do? He was invisible in the 2nd half.

I try staying as neutral and objective as I can in regards to rep selections. So despite my dislike of the Dragons as a rival of the Dogs (great respect for their football this year though), Merrin just doesn't cut it out for me tbh. I'm not sure what it is, as he is another that is fantastic at club level but fails to replicate it on the big stage.

Are you guys serious? Rewind the tapes and watch some of Merrin's past games in SOO!

Moylan needs to be in the team, since he can help with the lack of playmakers. Even though Dugan was really good, he can move and replace one of the plods at centre.

Reynolds needs to be picked. He is used to directing a team that plays a simple grinding style of football, leads with his defence and will be the first one chasing his kicks that actually find the grass. I can tell you we would actually see some repeat sets for the first time in how many years?

I don't know if Keary is ready but they have a good combo and he is a terrier who will rip in

Ageee on Reynolds. If fit, should come in for SOO II with Austin as his partner. If not, Pearce to 1/2, Austin to 5/8.

Despite how enormously shit we were, we lost by 1. Wholesale changes aren't needed, Swap Cordner out for Lewis, Hoppa out for BMoz, Pearce and Hokko for a pair of traffic cones or hatstands or whatever and we're good to go.

Young kid, rep career shouldn't be defined by one game, but a dope like me was saying pre-game that picking an edge forward in Jackson to play middle was dumb. Kid had no penetration at all. Shouldn't play again until he can play as the right forward in future as a replacement for Scott.

Woods and Tamou were good with territory but seemed to get in the way several occasions. NSW get the golden opportunity of no Gallen-hog or bird-hog who have contributed to so many losing series so the halves can finally take control, and then they get these block heads f**kin up plays. The NSW set immediately prior to Chambers try was a schemozzle and was the defining point of the match.

Laurie is wrapped with the loss! Jennings should be done after this series he does f**k all. Tupou and Hoppa both gotta go they will never be more than solid at this level. The spine wtf are u doing kick a f**king field goal. Trying to ride the roosters to a series win isnt going to work Laurie.

Apparently Farah could out for a while with his shoulder. Trying to think who could possibly replace him. To the best of my knowledge, these are the NSW eligible hookers/blokes who've occasionally played hooker:

- Michael Ennis (who they'll probably pick)
- Nathan Peats
- Mitch Rein
- Ryan Hinchcliffe
- Michael Lichaa
- Beau Falloon
- Adam Clydesdale
- Tyler Randell
- Rory Kostjasyn
- Cameron King
- Apisai Koriasau
- Cameron McInnes
- Heath L'Estrange
- Isaac De Gois
- Kurt Gidley
- Jeff Robson
- Josh McCrone

Dugan - excellent performance.

Tupou - was poor. Dropped the ball on a 1st tackle of a scrum then missed chambers. Offers nothing really.

Jennings - poor. Seemed to transfer his crap club form over to origin.

Morris - was solid. Nice try and good tackles on Inglis.

Hopoate - was solid. Was there to shut down the Qld left edge and done it well.

Pearce - besides the one pass to Scott, was not that great. Bombs straight to slater.

Hodkinson - was terrible, missed the sideline kick and general play was bad.

Woods - his best performance so far in origin.

Farah - dumb mistakes in the end. But showed heart to get back up from that knock.

Tamou - great performance. Reminds me why he was picked 4 years ago.

Hoffman - was ok, nothing special.

Scott - very good defensive errort and solid try.

Jackson - was invisible.

Klemmer - great debut.

Fifita - great runs but does so many stupid things.

Merrin - was badly managed by Daley, needed more time on the field.

Cordner - another poor performance. Not ready for this level along with Jackson.
