Here is what I would go with:-
1. Dugan
2. Johnston
3. Jennings
4. Morris
5. Topou
6. ????
7. Pearce
8. Woods
9. Farah
10. Tamou
11. Cordner
12. Lewis
13. Merrin

14. Fifita
15. Jackson
16. Klemmer
17. Frizel

For the 6. The options are - Graham/Hodkinson/Sutton - good defenders.
Or Maloney/Austin/(Soward - injured?) - good attackers - poor defenders.

NSW would be looking to grind out a win in the forwards, so I would probably go with Graham in the 6, I know that may limit the attack, but I can't think of better option.

Once Soward is fit, I would slot him in later in the series.

There has been talk of playing Hodkinson in the 6, but he is not in great form.

Jackson can fill in at hooker if Farah needs a rest, that is one more reason to have him on the bench.

supporting the re-selection of Pearce is worse then supporting QLD. at least with one series loss we can finally f**k off this dud if that was the case, instead of having to live through half a decade of misery with that inept moron at the helm.

take that as a yes, f**king extremist

In preparation for the great man's return...lets go to the video shall we lol

Yes, I know, but as bad as it seems, he is the best option at present.

The other good options are too young or out injured.

QLD should prepare and put the drinks on ice, but stranger things have happened...

Blake Austin and Soward are available for one...even Keary, even Jack Bird. Pick Pearce, as a QLD'er I'm thrilled what is it about 2/13

Either you support QLD or this one of those pranks?
Firstly, you don't want to change the lineup too many times especially the halves so to include Soward later is one big mistake unless injuries occur. Secondly, like all band wagons most of you here missed out on my Origin history about Pearce.
Thirdly, QLD have done this for many years and is the reason why they WON. They were consistent in picking same players who did the job well even if their club was not in form they were still selected. In saying that, try not to get into the hype of form players like Pearce who had the same form over and over in SOO 08, 10, 11,12,13 and still didn't impress me or did jack crap!!
Gee, NSW better drop this act of selecting a combination halves e.g. pearce and maloney? Who made that rule up? Cronk and Jono don't fit that criteria? Please enough with this imagination and wild ideas?
End of the day, Hodkinson deserves his spot. As for Josh Reynolds I will be glad if they don't pick him. Too hot potatoes and he really needs to work on his disciple and most of all; defense? He tackle for crap??

Now seriously, NSW need these players to cause some rukus:
1. Dugan
2. D Tupou
3. Jennings
4. J Morris
5. Johnston
6. -----My guess will definitely be Pearce.
7. Hodkinson
8. Woods
9. Farah
10. Fifita
11. Hoffman
12. Lewis
13. Merrin

14. Tamou
15. Scott
16. Klemmer
17. Watmough, Frizel, Cordner, who ever they decide to go with.

Sad to hear Watmough will be overlooked but I think NSW should pick him despite of the EELs being out of form?

I don't like but I think Pearce might do well with Hodkinson. Can't wait for the selection tomorrow boyz.

Josh Dugan
Daniel Tupou
Michael Jennings
Josh Morris
Will Hopoate
Mitchell Pearce
Trent Hodkinson
Aaron Woods
Robbie Farah (c)
James Tamou
Ryan Hoffman
Beau Scott
Josh Jackson.

Interchange: Boyd Cordner, Trent Merrin, Andrew Fifita, David Klemmer. 18th man: Tyson Frizell.

I would have brushed Hodkinson for Maloney but all in all great squad, all forwards are in outstanding form and that's where we'll smash some toads

The word on tv tonight is that Luke Lewis will not be picked tomorrow, therefore ending a great rep career. Your thoughts all?

So Lewis is out, but guys horribly out of form or terrible at Origin in Hopoate, Cordner, Hodkinson, Pearce etc. are in the team.

We deserve to lose the first game. Lewis is a proven performer in Origin and beats the shit out of atleast a quarter of the players likely to be picked.
