ahem.......

* Tahu will not be an EEL in 2011 or beyond.....
* Carl Webb to save his career and be a standout
* Brad Murray to show that he can play the game and maybe even secure the No: 7
* Jordan Atkins to have a solid year even if only on limited opportunities
* Justin Horo to impress even more
* Mortimer to kick-start his career
* Jarryd Hayne to become a more all-round player
* Parramatta to make the top 4

just putting it out there......

That's not bold and fearless. That's just optimistic hope.

i should have noted this in my first post....i agree it will be from the bench

i think as good as Mannah is, Fui will get first crack at his incumbent starting position and surely Poore deserves a go at Cayless' vacated (should be retired......) No: 8 jumper, however, bringing Fui and Webb off the bench together could be devestating midway through the first half, hmmmm........

The Eels will not make the 8 if they persist with a Mortimer/Robson halves combination. Brad Murray will have to step up and fill the role of an organising halfback if the Eels are a chance.

quite possibly never a more accurate statement and although i do have time for Robson, i hope Murray does stand up

*Parramatta picking up another clubs mid/pre season discard to play in the halves for 2011.
* Webb to disappoint and receive limited game time as a result before being dropped for O'Hanlon who will play in the backrow with Shack playing in the front row off the bench
* Humble eventually win the number 6 jumper with Morts playing utility off the bench
* Due to the age and injury prone-ness of our outside backs Atkins and Walker to both play over half a season in first grade
* Maitua to be a solid bench player, nothing more, nothing less
* Mortimor to set up at least one try
* Tahu to be voted biggest sook in RLW's annual players poll

i am looking forward to the team running out next year,
but most of all i will be pleased to see Mitchell and Humble get a first grade Jumper more often , we seem to have a few suprises that shine in thier first full time season and i just think one of these two could get a rookie of the year

Not sure about Rookie of the Year, but I agree,........these two guys demand more game time.

Eels have money to spend and sign big name half back mid way thru 2011 season.
Eels major new signing take Eels into half time lead 40 to nil verse the Dragons
5 minutes into 2nd half Eels major new signing breaks his leg and is out for the season
Eels loose 41 to 40 :)

- 6 halves combinations will be used in 2011 but Jarrryd Hayne will continue doing all the playmaking. None of these halves combinations will kick a 40/20
- Tahu, despite playing for Australia and the NZ maoris actually reveals he is english and plays for the poms thus shedding light on his continual sooking/whinging
- Hindy says f**k it and decides to not wear shorts altogether
-We will be linked to no less than 26 players during the season, all of which are halfbacks and none of which are off contract
- Boxhead becomes moderator and bans people who stray off topic. Subsequently The parra forum drops to record low numbers
- Reni Matua hosts the best dam mad Monday party the league has ever seen.
