Boyd in hot water

I'm my book, Stoney coaching the NSW Cup lads to a Grand Final win will be a big middle finger to Bennett. Nine in a row ever since Bennett said he was going. Bennett has lost all my respect now. He has just taken a shot at both us and the Dragons for no other reason than he thinks he is above us.

His press conference was hilarious but most of what he said was to feed to crushed egos of the one eyed tards up here.

They have that bit of extra motivation knowing he is FG coach next year.

It's also a coupe for Stone if he can win the GF. The FG boys will have a bit more respect knowing he can take a team to the big game and get the job done.

Seriously it's the NSW Cup. He's already won 3 premierships with Burleigh in the QLD Cup. Winning a premiership on saturday is only the equal of that. Until he proves otherwise, he's just a coach who has had success at reserve grade level.

Well, it's a little more than that, it means he's still having success at reserve grade level. We weren't bad under Stone with a tragic roster, it's not really the coach that I'm worried about at this point. The new administration and lack of prop forwards is of much greater concern to me.

Indeed. The more I listen to Bennett speak the more and more he just sounds totally up himself. If he could suck his own dick he would.

Boyd linked with Roosters on a potential 4 year deal - was spotted at Roosters HQ yesterday apparently... so I guess he's back in the country. I've rarely seen a guy so desperate to want to get away from a club, isn't he supposed to be mates with everyone at the Knights? Load of bollocks. He doesn't just want to follow Wayne - he wants to get away from us any way he can.

Good riddance to the turd. I hope he does sign with the Roosters, it'll make him so much easier to hate again. I think he'd fit in quite well with the eastern suburbs twat mentality.

He's burnt waaaaaaayyyyy to many bridges here. With management (the running off to Greece without telling them stunt), with the players (letting them battle through the end of the season while he ran off to Greece) and obviously with the supporters.

Even if he can't go to the Broncs he certainly won't be here. That would be way too uncomfortable for everyone involved.

All very true, although the official word is that he's welcome to stay if he wishes, I'm sure everyone would be keener to see the back of him by now.

I have heard this week from a fairly reliable source that Stone and Boyd are having a chat this week. Stone is happy to keep him which has taken Boyd by surprise. He has yet to actually request a release which is unusual given the door is open for him to go. He still has not forgiven the Broncs for his sacking is the word. All the Boyd wanting a release was all pre clinic treatment it must be emphasised.

Interesting speculation, a fit and motivated Boyd is a real asset but I just can't see him staying.

See this is horseshit, not you Perv but the whole idea that the Roosters could slot someone like Boyd into their roster.

A few weeks back the Tele claimed that the Rorters were actually under the cap due to everyone being on cut price deals and below market value. So no one is getting an upgrade and they have 600k plus free under the cap.

Seriously that will do me, let's just cancel the cap because it's being rorted by everyone but Newcastle.

Apparently SBW was taking up a million bucks.

Their issue isn't fitting Boyd in for 2015, it's after when the likes of FPN, Moa, JWH, Tupou, Napa, Guerra, Cordner, all key players who were on very, little when they signed their last contracts.

Hope to god they take him and he acts like the merkin he was here in Newcastle so their cap has 600k tied up in twat when they look to resign their more deserving talent.

If Boyd somehow stays, it's just another massive kick in the guts to us supporters. I think we need a dead set miracle to even be competitive next year. Everyone except Canberra is looking a far better bet than us and even without the endless problems with our roster, the constant off field dramas will continue to bring us down even further.

This joke of a club needs to give us something to be excited about, something to look forward to instead of all this negative crap! Do the majority of people involved with the Newcastle Knights (including fans outside of this place) really thrive on this mediocrity?

Boyd staying shouldn't even be a bloody option. Even if he did knuckle down and focus, his best days are behind him so it's a waste of time anyway. Argh! Such a frustrating team to follow!

F**k you Knights!!
