I hope hope hope that Bennett fails.
^ this. Would be nice if we were sitting comfortably in the top 4 and we knock them out of finals contention at suncorp.

He has just taken a shot at both us and the Dragons for no other reason than he thinks he is above us.
They have that bit of extra motivation knowing he is FG coach next year.I'm my book, Stoney coaching the NSW Cup lads to a Grand Final win will be a big middle finger to Bennett. Nine in a row ever since Bennett said he was going. Bennett has lost all my respect now. He has just taken a shot at both us and the Dragons for no other reason than he thinks he is above us.

It's also a coupe for Stone if he can win the GF. The FG boys will have a bit more respect knowing he can take a team to the big game and get the job done.
Well, it's a little more than that, it means he's still having success at reserve grade level. We weren't bad under Stone with a tragic roster, it's not really the coach that I'm worried about at this point. The new administration and lack of prop forwards is of much greater concern to me.Seriously it's the NSW Cup. He's already won 3 premierships with Burleigh in the QLD Cup. Winning a premiership on saturday is only the equal of that. Until he proves otherwise, he's just a coach who has had success at reserve grade level.

Boyd linked with Roosters on a potential 4 year deal - was spotted at Roosters HQ yesterday apparently... so I guess he's back in the country. I've rarely seen a guy so desperate to want to get away from a club, isn't he supposed to be mates with everyone at the Knights? Load of bollocks. He doesn't just want to follow Wayne - he wants to get away from us any way he can.
Good riddance to the turd. I hope he does sign with the Roosters, it'll make him so much easier to hate again. I think he'd fit in quite well with the eastern suburbs twat mentality.
All very true, although the official word is that he's welcome to stay if he wishes, I'm sure everyone would be keener to see the back of him by now. He's burnt waaaaaaayyyyy to many bridges here. With management (the running off to Greece without telling them stunt), with the players (letting them battle through the end of the season while he ran off to Greece) and obviously with the supporters.
Even if he can't go to the Broncs he certainly won't be here. That would be way too uncomfortable for everyone involved.
I have heard this week from a fairly reliable source that Stone and Boyd are having a chat this week. Stone is happy to keep him which has taken Boyd by surprise. He has yet to actually request a release which is unusual given the door is open for him to go. He still has not forgiven the Broncs for his sacking is the word. All the Boyd wanting a release was all pre clinic treatment it must be emphasised.
