Also, parallels between Walt's face after Hank was shot and Gus's face after his partner was shot. After everyone else in his life has been hurt by his actions in the drug trade, Walt finally sees some hurt of his own. Too bad it had to happen with the death of someone not involved in his little game, someone who was in fact trying to stop it.

Yeah I was joking. He's actually a heroic man. Go Walt!

Honestly, he might have just been desperate but taking Holly was a low, low act. And making Skylar look like the victim on the phone later doesn't really make up for what he's done.

Although I've learnt to try and not predict what happens next, here is my attempt

- Walt goes into hiding in New Hampshire, possibly for weeks or months
- Jesse is kept as a cook in the white supremacists' lair, eventually gains trust and escapes
- Through Saul or possibly Todd he gets in touch with Walt and tells him he is going after Skylar and his family
- Walt and Jesse go to war in the finale, lots of casualties of major characters

Holy sh*t that was intense.

Really thought Hank was going to get out of that somehow.

Don't really feel sorry for Jesse. He was more interesting as an addict.

LOL! The baby is also his, dumbass! He IS the father, remember?

The whole phone call to Skylar was to cover HER ass, not his!

This is what I have been thinking too.

The diner scene in 5x01 with the bacon I think foreshadows Skylar's death, so it's likely that someone has already gotten to her before Walt's return. Walt seems to have given Jesse the perfect excuse to go after her after admitting what had happened to Jane.

There's also the tape of Jesse's confession which is at Hank's place. I'm wondering if Marie will end up buying it when the Nazis go looking for it, or whether she finds the tape and releases it herself.

I'm glad Vince didn't kill off Jesse in season one as planned. I don't think this show would have been anywhere near as good if that happened.

Just on springs weird rant
"I much prefer history, true or feigned, with its varied applicability to the thought and experience of readers. I think that many confuse 'applicability' with 'allegory'; but one resides in the freedom of the reader, and the other resides in the purposed domination of the author."

Just to add if Gilligan wanted Walt to be entirely to blame for Jane's death he'd have gone with the original plan of Walt directly murdering her.

Jane's death was enabled by Jesse, Jane and Walt. In many ways Walt played an almost passive role in it. What show are you watching where you keep trying to search for black and white morality here.

Mr White aka his next name, will come back for the rednecks.

He is broken as bad as he has been.

People will be farged up and badly.

How he approaches his son will be tricky.

Yeah, you can say Walt's a good man if you want, but it doesn't mean they are right.

...

It's just people cheering for a dickhead because they think he's a badass.
If this is your view then you don't really understand why people cheer for Walt.

I did that myself, going for Walt against Hank and Gus and even justifying him letting Jane die, until that final shot of season 4.
I don't see, for instance, how Walt's measured poisoning of Brock is any worse than Jesse dealing meth to addicts in drug rehabilitation.

Sure, you could argue that one is a helpless child and the other is an addict. But both are equally susceptible and Jesse's action are more likely to lead to violence or death.

Jesse has been a loose cannon the entire series, but Walt kept him alive the whole time. Poisoning a kid doesn't make Walt a good guy, but let's get real for a moment - in the grand scheme of things they were pretty high level players in the illicit drug trade and supporting organised crime in multiple countries.

I support Walt because I'm not sympathetic to Jesse at all. Walt got into the business for a reason, Jesse is just an ordinary junkie criminal. Not because Walt is a "badass", but certainly because Walt is more calm, rational and level headed than Jesse is. Jesse just has a hang up about kids, he certainly doesn't give a shit about anything else.

Great comment on the Breaking Bad FB page:

"My theory is that the vacuum cleaner guy is taking walt to a new family in New Hampshire with a wife and 4 boys, and that Gilligan has actually written a prequel to Malcolm in the Middle"

:lol::lol::lol:

Probably the best episode of tv in have seen ever. I'm sure ill be saying the same in the next couple of weeks.

No more predictions for me I'm gonna sit back and let Master Gilligan take me wherever he pleases.

Would like to know what was written on holly when Walt handed her back.

Is there a promo of the next episode anywhere?
