If he's so smart why is he trying to get involved at Parra?

Well it's not to be another pig at the trough. Our honorariums are lunch money to this dude. Maybe he wants to help out ? He may very well be a very charitable chap !

He is spot on and there is no doubt he would be an asset to the club. I just thought it wasn't a great idea to give the media a free hit like that. He might think it will help bring about change but all it will do is create further division amongst the various f**kwit factions.

Or maybe anyone who criticises him in any way is a dumb Parra fan

Thought the same and then I thought this guys a very smart cookie and I'm sure in his last gig he would have to have been pretty media savvy . These dudes are master negotiators and motivators . Now my point , if you swing by Phils site you'll notice there's a few troops rallying together . Could it be Mossys using the media for the greater good ?

If it gets more merkins involved than just the factions currently deciding everything then it will have been worth it.

Which ones haven't? It seems to be the nature of the beast.

Easy answer Bart but a bit glib.
My question was serious.

Who of the current 7 PLC elected Board members are putting there own interests first?
Sharp?
Issa?
Serrao?
Shepherd?
Gerrard?
Libertini?
Sassen?

and feel free to give some examples.

I just think why on earth would he (Moss) go to the media like that? I mean, has been living under a rock? We hated the leaks that came out of the previous board and that are still coming out under the plumbers board. And this bloke Moss like a dill makes it worse, makes us look even sillier. A professional exec would not have a uttered a word to the media. If you want things cleaned up you do it in house. Why embarrass the club even more?? Doesn't make sense.

We need leadership from people who care about the club and who are professional. We don't want attenuation seekers who want to their names in the papers everyday.

Who said he went to the press ? It looks like the press went to him and took two or three quotes from him while he was at the AGM, like the member of the press ?

Also as he is not a board member, and not bound by any code of conduct, as a member of the club who was being discussed he has a right to speak his opinion. Just like you do Jake. It just seems to be he is a person the papers take notice of, unlike yourself.

I can't believe the papers haven't taken notice of me damn it!!! Why god whhhhyyyy?!!!!

Looks like you're a little upset that Moss didn't get his vote. But it seems that it was the unprofessionalism of the chairman that stuffed things right up. From start to finish it looked like a political move by the plumber. On top of that the plumber doesn't know how to put a motion forward at the AGM. "How embarrassment"

I'm all for people like Moss to be on the board, he clearly has good business contacts and runs on the board. If it were only done in the manner where members could openly vote for him rather than the chairman endorsed politically picked and so called independent board member. It just looked suspect from the start.

How long have we been crying out for this board room rubbish to be handled professionally internally and not discussed in the papers?? For ages. What does this guy go and do first opportunity? Talks to the media. Who cares if the media approached him first or not, a simple no comment would have sufficed. He would of gained much more respect from everyone if he had done so. But it just seems to me that Moss is no different to the others.

At the end of the day, all this could be resolved if our 7 directors can sit around at the table and decide who can take a hit and stand down for the sake if the club they love so much so an important figure like mr moss can step in and weave his corporate wand around... Preferably it's 1 not a cross over director to avoid a mess ..
