Thats the problem Sretsoor, We know nothing might come of it, weather it be true of not.
I have 3 Daughters. Personally, I would not send them to jail, i would in fact, take them prisoner myself, and deal with them over years in my Cellar.

If true, Punish to the full extent. If false, Punish the woman. You just can not make claims of this seriousness, and then let it lie. It shits me to death, when Lawyers convince women to drop these cases. I Will say it to im Red.

Police incident report reveals that the lady has accused at least six players of sexually assaulting her, after she was taken to the pool by one player. She knows the name of only one player.

Hospital examinations have found evidence supporting the lady's claims that sexual activity took place. The lady claimed that it was without consent. I can't detail the lady's claims in a tasteful manner, so I won't.

One player has admitted to having sex with her. Others have denied it, but have agreed to provide samples for DNA matching.

Staff at the resort have supported both the lady's claims, and the players' claims.


This is all I can recall from it, but it was read out on 2GB this morning.

The fact that staff are supporting claims from both parties could suggest that it will not be as clear cut as we'd hope.

I agree with your sentiments stgillaman but there is a big problem with that.

You cant always prove what happened either way. If a woman was raped and she cant prove it does that mean she should go to gaol?

It is a difficult thing to know exactly what happened sometimes and the victim should not withhold here claim due to fear of being charged herself because otherwise the scum that commit these crimes would have way to much power over the victims.

I dont know a correct soution and agree that if someone is 'proven' to be lying should be punished in the same way as someone commiting the crime as it destroys peoples lives.

BUT we cant create a victim out of every girl who is raped but cant prove it.

It is a terrible situation that like alot of things i wish people just wouldnt do.

Ray Hadley read the police incident report out on his program. He was given the OK to read the report out on air as nobody has been charged yet. This is not the report word for word, but are some of the facts covered in the report.

Willow, I didnt realise I was making any claim.

I was just saying the standard investigative procedure by hospitals and police for a rape if notified soon after the event a Rape Kit is used (not sure of the correcter analogy the cops use for it) but it is to gather as much info before the evidence is lost.

It was a generalised comment for what the cops do in cases like this.

(I think it's called P.E.R.P.S not sure. If I remember tonight I can check if that is correct or not).

Willow Channel 7 sunrise used the word 'rape' on the scroll bars at the bottom of the show all morning.
As i said earlier channel 9 today used 'sexual assault' on their scroll bars.

So it was used on on tv this morning definately as i saw it with my own eyes.

I dont know were to find the scroll bars on the net though.

Possibly the biggest crock I have ever read.

Police struggle enough to get women to go ahead with sexual assualt cases in court. Throw in the chance that they get charged themselves and that should really help things.

Yeah, I agree PJ. There are so many cases where there is insufficient evidence due to the loacation where alleged activities take place (one on one, private rooms, no witnesses etc). Finding insufficent evidence just means a conviction can't be pursued, it doesn't necessarily mean the woman is lying and should be (further) punished.
