What astounded me is that Finch stood himself down for this weeks game pending his release. Apparently because of the pressure and his current state of mind. Meanwhile Hindmarsh plays on despite his son being in hospital due to a potentially fatal illness.

We know now who the true clubman are.

Well I for one wish Brett all the best. You cant deny his passion and heart.

I wasnt happy when i heard we had signed him but he did win me over with some gutsy performances early. I think half isnt his position and he would make a better 5/8.

Hopefully this will be a win win situation with him finding a happier home & us freeing up some $$$ to sign some talent.

We really need a decent, creative half though.... I wonder if Joey could get a Tate type neck brace and run around for 20 games ?

while most of us rejoice at this decision, one thing we haven't considered is how much of Finch's contract will we be paying out? because it WILL count under the cap and thanks to Hagan we may well be paying him out until 2011....
