Brett Stewart - Has a go at David Gallop

Constraint

Yeah yeah they need to get over it, he needs to get over it etc etc, heard it all before. Who cares if he acts out a gallop on the field, just laugh about it; I found it rather amusing, and as a fairly strong non-Manly supporter, I'm delighted he's back and enjoying himself.

Knowing Hoppa Jnr will end up taking his fullback spot, Stewart has resorted to the dumbshit tactics that fellow overrated shitbag David William resorts to. Any publicity is good publicity.

David Williams? Yeah God forbid we have some characters in the game.
Better to all be bloody drones than show some personality hey?
And if Stewart is fit he will be the fullback as long as he's there. Hoppa Jnr will play centre or wing.;-)

.

No problems with characters. But when a player starts getting picked in rep teams cause of his beard it's a f**kin joke.

Yes. Williams picked himself did he?, you dickhead.

I would rather have a bearded planker in the NRL than someone that shits in hallways or has been charged several times.

That won't be happening, Hoppa's gone for a while.

Back on topic, I hate Manly as much as any good NRL fan but in this situation I 100% agree with them and Stewart. Getting 4 weeks for essentially nothing was a disgusting miscarriage of justice. I'd be just as bitter if it was me.

Wow. What a venomous f*cking turd you are. Tried to ask a question in a pretty civil manner and get your hillbilly bile in return.

OK, first up, here's the link to BHP's Exploration and Development report

Heres another to an investor presentation

5 year plans?

I take your point on the Independent Commission. Although I still think he should be pushing for a quicker resolution to it all as he can't negotiate any TV rights deals until its up and running.
He has no weight and no say. Its up to News Ltd and the ARL to sort out

Wow, it was Gallop's decision alone to strip the premierships off the Storm. What a huge effort!! What other choice was there??? The Dogs were stripped of all points when they rorted the system and so in turn a premiership (or would have been if they'd won then it was discovererd). There was no other choice. A monkey could have made the same decision. My point was that he did not as the head of the NRL step in and demand the players make sworn statements as to their knowledge and involvement. Why the f*ck would News Ltd be responsible for that?
I said it was NEWS who should be blamed for the players not being brought forward, not their responsibility
I can't fathom how you think its not his job to step in when something like that happens. He chooses to step in and preside over other aspects of clubs decisions so why not that one given it was the biggest scam of all time in rugby league?
What power does he have numbnuts? He cannot force players to go to an independent auditor to answer questions!!!
And how have you measured that the NRL is the biggest sport in Australia? On your "redneck scale of awesomeness"? Certainly not by membership numbers, crowd numbers, revenue numbers, sponsorship dollars or TV rights income.
Redneck? FFS where does it say I'm from Queensland you f*cking spastic? You are implying that Gallop is the reason League is being dwarfed by AFL, when under Gallop the game has grown to the point where more Australian will see a League game than an AFL game, because of TV ratings - and that doesnt include the NZ part of our comp.

Face it, this thread has simply dragged the Gallop haters out like maggots on a lump of off meat - like you. I wonder how much you loved life under Moffat? Most of the stuff you demanded Gallop do simply is not his job, or he has no say over. You may as well blame Gallop for the Harbour Bridge being shut ffs

So thanks for the really constructive feedback YOU DUMB F*CK. :D[/QUOTE]

Sorry, plans up to the end of FY 2015 was as close as I could find. I think the point was made though that there are plans in place on a long term basis whereas the current NRL administration couldn't tell you what they are doing for lunch today.

Of course he has weight. If he doesn't then it shows how ineffective he is.

I said it was NEWS who should be blamed for the players not being brought forward, not their responsibility

Well if its not their (and by "their" I assume you mean the NRL) responsibility to deal with the players in that situation why the hell does Gallop step in and overrule clubs on decisions they make about their players?

What power does he have numbnuts? He cannot force players to go to an independent auditor to answer questions!!!

All players are contracted to the NRL of which Gallop is the CEO so of course he has the power to get the players to testify in an NRL sanctioned and commissioned investigation. He could have threatened them with deregistration of their contracts if he wanted to for thumbing their noses at everyone.

Redneck? FFS where does it say I'm from Queensland you f*cking spastic? You are implying that Gallop is the reason League is being dwarfed by AFL, when under Gallop the game has grown to the point where more Australian will see a League game than an AFL game, because of TV ratings - and that doesnt include the NZ part of our comp.

hahahaha you idiot. I am not implying Gallop is the reason the NRL is dwarfed by the AFL. You said that league is the biggest sport in Australia and I questioned how the hell you measured that claim. I said that by crowd numbers, club membership numbers, corporate sponsorship, TV deals etc we are not the biggest sport by any stretch. They are facts (unfortunately). I was asking you the question of how we are this biggest sport. I didn't mention Gallop so get your panties out of their knot and stop making shit up. And you are a redneck. I don't give a f*ck where the caravan park is that you live in.

Face it, this thread has simply dragged the Gallop haters out like maggots on a lump of off meat - like you. I wonder how much you loved life under Moffat? Bit precious about Gallop aren't we? With the exception of the Independent Commission issue that I agreed with you on, he is responsible or does have input into all of the other "demands" that I wrote.
You defend him like I'm having a go at the sport itself when all I want is a leader who can make the game greater. Personally I don't think Gallop is that person. You do. You're the one who started the bile and viciousness when I asked my initial question so that in my book makes you the maggot no matter which side of the fence you're on.
Have a nice day.:D

He probably should get over it, however who are we to judge. If I was publicly accused of rape, had all sorts of lies printed about me, stood down from job due to those lies, received public ridicule and not even received the courtesy by the games administrator to get my side of the story I could be a little pissed.

if your a lawyer, doctor, dentist or physiologist you are automatically get stood down when you are accused of sever crimes like sexual misconduct in or outside of your professional role and are restricted from working until found not guilty.

These guys get paid so much because they are public figures and they need to be more responsible for their actions.

Stewart was at a season launch in front of major sponsors and public guests, he should not have been intoxicated IMO. Where is the professional conduct, he then went out at the very least was a public nuisance.

He was punished accordingly, I personally would hope the NRL would give more then a 4 week ban if a player committed sexual assault so he obviously wasn't punished for that.

Bec Wilson agrees with a lot of you guys. I'm not going to link her article, because I don't want to increase that websites hits.

Game over. Manly clearly in the right.

I can't believe we're still discussing this issue. It was over 2 years ago!

Even worse, the only reason we're still talking about it is Manly keep bringing it up.

What an immature bunch of jerks.
