im sure he played in the 2005 final v Parra

Yep. Scored a try too. Shame he couldn't conjure his magic when Parra weren't 30 or so ahead.

I am facing facts. It says it in the article!

Just like that Article from a few days back stating that Brian Carney was dead keen to suit up with the Titans...

yes but the limitations of body and the yearning to be back with his family overcame any desire to play for the Titans.

Just as much as Michael Witts lack of talent will hold him back from a permanent first grade gig and will transform him into a career journeyman.

don't you claim Melboring is the sports capital of Australia?

10,000 crowds for the minor premiers hardly backs that up

Good to see you consistently being supportive of Rugby League's expansion clubs :)

To think, I am the one sl.agged off as not being a good enough rugby League fan, yet those who do claim to be staunch supporters evidently want the Storm to fail ...

& for the record, Parramatta play in a modern stadium in the heart of Rugby League Territory.

The Storm are an expansion club who play in what can only be described as a pooh of a stadium, compete for crowds in the city that is home to the sport that blows every other game in the country out of the water for attendances, yet they still manage to attract more than 2/3 of Parramatta's average.

The Storm are travelling fine.

If you think Parramatta averaging 14,000 in the middle of Sydney's West is something to be proud of, then I really feel sorry for you.

Interestingly enough:

Melbourne, city of one team: Crowd average 10,850
Parramatta, in a city of nine teams: Crowd average 14,450

You do the Math.

Aah but you see how many of Parramatta's average fans are away fans who can make it to Parramatta's home games?

Parramatta played 5 home matches (Not including the Warriors in Waikato) against clubs from out of Sydney with an aggregate of 65,936, averaging out to 13,172.

Just because people live in the same city doesn't mean they travel to away games. For someone living in Avalon, Campbelltown or Kurnell might as well be in another country. Sydney is decentralised to the point of insanity, and until you live there and in another major Australian City, you just can't appreciate it.

They also played against 6 Sydney teams at home with an aggregate of 93,017 averaging out to 15,502 per game. That makes the difference in crowd averages against teams outside of Sydney as opposed to in Sydney 2,330 extra people per game. That's a fair amount of difference when it comes to overall averages but not entirely surprising.

There are many neutral fans living in the area aswell. I'm sure many fans who live in Parramatta or near there would attend Parramatta games just for the sake of watching.

This shows that if there were more Victorian teams then there'd be more supporters at Melbourne home games.

. What are you talking about? Another team in Victoria would cut the Storms crowds beacuse it'd erode an already small support base.
