Have people forgotten what Tim Smith put us through? The last full season that he had with us was crap and everyone whinged about it. He made headlines in the paper on a regular basis for his behaviour(and not in a good way)he was eratic, stupid and destabilizing. Now he may be able to hide behind the Bi polar excuse to a certain extent but WHEN are people going to come to terms with the fact that behaving like a little cretin is not a medical condition. IMO we would be going backwards in taking him back. I would much rather seek out other options than take this little moron back.

link? i cant see it anywhere

it's too early for a link..

the article basically states that we're trying to get him back but if you read closely it was just a question that was asked of Ray Price who said he wouldn't mind if he came back but it was up to the coach, 2 pages of rubbish which tells you jack about him coming back...it's a very missleading story.

I'm telling you it's one of the wankiest and missleading stories I've ever seen, the front of the sports page has a series of headlines inwhich one was 'Come Home' 'Parra to target Smith'..but the story is an absolute furffy..it just mentions that Price would consider getting him back but Kenny thinks it's a bad idea...the story was that crappy i had to read it twice it was that crap.

Price would consider a return, I know for a fact John Chidiac wants him to return, thats half of 3p
its not as far in my dreams as you may think stagger
He has a point there stagger. It is andersons decision but we need a halfback tim could be the perfect option. Wont take long to fit into the team because he knows the players so well already.

so whatever happened to the head coach making those decisions? i agree with a great deal of what 3P say, however to make decisions on player retention and recruitment is just wrong...

well its quite obvious recruitment and retention has been a major issure at the club since the 90's, maybe it wouldnt be such a bad thing if 3p took over that facet if they got power?

it's a ridiculous and prehistoric way of going about things, we would be the only club in the NRL that wouldn't give the head coach full autonimy (that bloody word again) on retention and recruitment.
