It's a salary cap so the NRL save leg ups only for Sydney teams like the Bunnies with Inglis. If they can't offload either to another club Brisbane management just have to take their medicine and run below the salary cap for a year or two. A rookie in the side would be a better option than Boyd at the moment.

Yep Boyd and McCullough are shit and no the NRL shouldn't help the Broncos out salary cap wise just like they shouldn't have helped out Souths with Inglis.

Again no. The Broncos have to pick up the balance of Birds salary if he gets offloaded to another team. Saying that Bird and his management requested permission to negotiate with other clubs so don't know how that will end up money wise.
