Same thing was just reporting by Ben Ikin on Sterlo.

An employee of the company allegedly paying the non-registered third party agreements came forward, and then the Broncos went to the NRL.

Paying? It came about because they weren't being paid.

Either way, this wasn't the Broncos coming forward because their "internal checks and balances" uncovered an "irregularity."

Paul White clearly said yesterday an external source told them and then they investigated to see if there was anything to it and after discovering there could be, forwarded it to the nrl.

I'd be going mum on the brown paper bags talk, if i were you.

Why? If it was a brown paper bag there wouldn't be a paper trail to investigate. Anyone who thinks brown paper bags haven't been floating around in rugby league for the best part of 30 years is in denial.

Of course, but given you know this, and given the Broncos are current being investigated for what could be serious and significant breeches, perhaps your not in the best position to be leveling brown paper bag claims at anyone right now

especially given the Milford deal is under investigation and the rumors that swirled about why he and his family were so desperate to get back to Brisbane

What a surprise a news ltd company caught being dodgy. Anyone see a common theme?

NRL needs to get news ltd out of Broncos.

You missed the point entirely, if the broncos are guilty of cap rorting and evidence is available of it through leagues club documents or whatever, then they are stupid because both the dogs and storm scandals showed it can and will eventually be detected.

Milford deal under investigation? Like any contract that is yet to be registered, the nrl will check it, this will certainly draw more attention to it but it is not part of the nrl investigation.

The broncos leagues club is a separate legal entity to the listed broncos football club and News ltd don't own any part of it. If the leagues club was involved in any unregulated player payments then it is outside of the purview of News ltds ownership.

Ikin suggested payments were going through news ltd, possibly.

If , and I mean if this turns out to be bigger than released cap wise, how shit is Gee if he can't assemble a top side. All the teams that have been busted for serious cap breaches have been title winning or favourites for the title when busted. Gee's efforts would have to go down as the most inept.
