NRL is all about "diversity" these days.

How many rounds are dedicated to a social cause?
That's nothing to do with politics, and all to do with appealing to corporate board rooms.

And it's all totally irrelevant to where an NRL team will go.

By the way, Perth had the largest majority winning Labor result in Australian history.

Whoopee you have some liberally minded people in Brisbane. In most cities you will find liberals, particularly in the inner sanctums of those cities - they tend to be the bourgeoisie class of highly educated and high income persons.

I have travelled across the country mate and Queenslanders are pretty much the most conservative in the country.
Is that a bad thing though? It's not like there aren't highly intelligent and educated conservatives in the world and I'm glad Brisbane hasn't become Woketoria... yet

You said there's no communists in parliament. Quite a few Labor MPs were communists in their 20s.

Mate if they were really communists and tried to impose real communist principles - elimination of private property, collectivisation of farming and agriculture, nationalisation of all industries and dictatorship of the proletariat there would be an insurrection and they would be removed from parliament.

The words communist and socialist are thrown around so haphazardly that people don’t know actually know what these words actually mean anymore.

Labor are more socially progressive (sometimes on things that really don’t matter and are essentially tokenistic) but both parties have the same broad principles on the economy, foreign affairs and other issues of politics.

Cmon I've got the Springwood Aquatic Centre a few mins from my place... nothing compares to that 😉
Lowe Park would be a great place for a rugby league club after the Pumas f**k off to Cronulla Park. They'll have the Springwood Aquatic Centre right next to them for recovery sessions. There's also the Logan North Library f for them to learn how to read and write at a higher level than Canard.

That is true. There are highly intelligent conservative and liberal leaning people.

It’s when people wholly tether themselves to a particular ideology or train of thought that it becomes counter productive and unedifying
