I think the more important question is, are any of these kids any good?

I don't think anyone knows, and coming up in a shit system to get flogged every week doesn't make it clearer.

Saying Cogger is too small for FG is complete BS. There are plenty of players smaller than him who thrive

The kid impressed me before his injury and as has been said, was more than up to the task against Canberra taking on some very big opposition

You talking our juniors, the club in general or our senior squad development?

How far back our you going calling our system shit?

Just asking cause the day we get some positivity out of you is the day when I buy a winning lottery ticket.

Cogger is taller than Isaac Luke, Adam Reynolds, Apisai Koroisau, Jake Granville etc.

He's the same height as Peter Wallace, James Maloney, Jake Friend, Anthony Milford and Connor Watson.

Another off-season of weight training and proper nutrition and his size won't be a factor at all

All of those are either nuggets or really fast/agile. He is neither.

Most important thing for a half is the brain on top of his shoulders

Can have all the brains in the world, if you
Can't translate it physically it doesn't mean squat.

Scott Dureau - immense footy brain. The physicality of a pot plant. There are a million examples.

Explain how Cooper Cronk got so good.

Dureau wasn't willing to put his body on the line. Defence is about attitude and young Scotty had a very poor one

Cogger has no such issue

Excuse me gents, if you will, but I have seen very little of Cogger play. Height wise there are plenty of halves his stature in the game and of course he'll fill out/bulk up over the next few years so I cant see size being a real hurdle for him and Brown was referring to a young player at the club (not Cogger but the young hooker - name escapes me) who he expressed concerns about his size but not Cogger. Is he really as slow as some are suggesting???? Feeney and Hodko slow or slower???

Feeney could actually be a good player going by Macs metrics. He's got a great running game when it all comes together, he's quick and elusive. But as we all know he lacks basic footy smarts as well as not being able to do the basics of football like catching the ball and tackling. And we all know he'll never make a first grade player.

Cogger would be faster then a one legged Hodko surely.

It is stupid to write off any player based on size.

Fmd Antonius. Been a while...
Been a few years, recognise a few of the old members that are still here and a lot of new ones. I was interested in how everyone thought Brownie was going and what the feeling was re Brock Lamb being out of the Wests game.

Some of us just can't help ourselves, unfortunately. Welcome back, old boy.
