Some interesting statistics for you Bretto.. since Dane left the club, the Broncos have won 11, lost 25. While he was still at the club at the start of the 2012 season, the Broncos won 8, lost 4.

Sypholis sends you crazy, sport.

I don't even remember Gagai playing for us. Or doing anything of all to note?

Pretty sure he didn't play a game, I think this guy is implying that Gagai's "aura" around training (Which he was never at, hence why the Broncos dropped him) sparked the players to play better..

He was always too busy hitting the drink with his 12 year old mates wasn't he?

The same guy who said we had Kennedy also said we had McCrone, I'm not really a fan of McCrone's to be honest.. a slightly younger version of Wallace.

[\QUOTE]

Can't see the Raiders letting McCrone go when Sam Williams is going to the Dragons and they seem to be developing Milford as a fullback, only leaves Campese and Cornish if McCrone left.

Jack Wighton has been playing out of position while in first grade. He played 5/8th for the Under 20's Australian team last year, and that's his preferred position.

If McCrone left, it would be Wighton who would replace McCrone.

Wighton, McCrone, Campese, Milford, Cornish..

I'd happily take Wighton or Milford.. for decent money.

Wighton may be a future 5/8 but he is not at that level yet, I'd take anyone from that list but Wighton is probably the furthest from being an NRL half out of the lot

Oh ... credit where credit's due. Congrats to Andrew Gee for at last signing a decent player in Matthew Kennedy.

After giving Gee a serve elsewhere in this forum, I now have my plate in front of me, tomato sauce on the side, and getting ready to eat my words.

If Gee signs Barba, which I'm hearing is a done deal, I wanna see you fair dinkum eat a real hat, on video.

McCrone is not playing for us.

Wouldn't want him anyway, needs a creative half to play well. Sam Williams on the other hand I wanted (good one Gee ). We needed a half and we failed to go after the best one on the market! Would have easily been happy to pay upwards of 300K for Sam Williams

The contract was there, this attitude that you must be an angel off the field has got us to the rabble we are now. We stuffed it up and we are paying for it.

Dugan isn't worth the price tag or the headaches that he brings. It would have been nice on a 'sink or swim' contract ala Te'o, but it's not the major loss you are making it out to be. Plenty of other fish (Barba, Milford etc) in the sea.

Even if we do sign Barba or Milford, we still don't have a recognised 5/8 at the club for next year.

Both the aforementioned players are poor defenders (as I understand it).

Here's a controversial statement - I would have preferred that the club held on to Prince for one more year, at least giving us a Brett Finch like back-up.

I thought we were hanging onto Prince for next year but he was told he would be playing QLD cup most of the time.

Milford 6 and Hunt 7 works for me.

Prince may still stay ... he has been told we will honour his contract (not like we would have a choice) but it would be likely he would spend the year in the QLD Cup. i suppose it depends on what offers he gets (same for Wallace)
