Winning and attractive football may bring the crowds back but Canberra is a Rugby town. Queanbeyan is a League town.

You wouldn't have thought that in 1994 when people wanted a suburb named after Mal Meninga and every second car had a Raiders number plate. Canberra is choc full of bandwagon supporters of both codes. It really depends on who's the more attractive team.

Your sport is a nothing entity internationally that's profile pretty purely much comes from the fact that the type of people who haven't managed to move out of the upper middle classes for the better part of 100 years refuse to play Soccer because they think it's a base commoners sport.
