Why was my post edited? I didnt edit Bunniesmans' quote, I merely said this is what it should have said...and put it in my own quote box, I didnt imply thats what BM wrote.

No different to all the people re-writing BigCountrys posts in the LOL@50uff$ thread.

How much you want to bet we won't be anywhere near 15th-16th? In fact, your club will be closer to that than mine will.

At least my club will have 2 people who you thought were going to be Souths 'saviours' for the next 4 years...

And I very much doubt it. At least our injured players will be returning in 2011, unlike yours.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you weren't at the game... on several occasions last night Idris actively avoided the ball. I don't know if it carried through on TV, but quite a few times when the ball came out to the right he simply stopped running until the play had passed him.

He was full of fire and brimstone at the start, but as soon as the Dogs went behind he waved the white flag.

Your halves couldn't have directed more traffic to his side of the field if they tried. It's Morris who was starved of possession, not Idris. There were several occasions last night when the Bulldogs had 4 or 5 on 2 out to their left, but the halves went right every single time.

I agree with you, I was at the game and there were so many chances to go left to Morris but they hardly did and he never received good early ball, Idris has to stop catching the ball at a standing start and run onto it and he will cause more damage, it's really frustrating.

You know you are f*cked when your most potent attacking weapon is insults thought up by Ennis' missus!

What about that definite top 4 prediction after their big off season splurge? They laughed at us paying $250k to retain Morts (with justification) - then they throw large coin at Keating and Hodgeson...........

All that said, Dogs were class against Saints last week - especially considering the juice they used up in the first half. They were possibly drained this week, plus missing the Origin players. Pritchard has been better too.

The Faiders were at their best too.

The Dogs were fresh against us last week after a bye, and more than half of the Saints team playing their 4th game in 12 days.

We have nothing in the halves? There's nothing like believing in outdated opinion is there...Sandow is one of the form halves of the comp right now. Over the last month he'd probably be in the top 3 #7's going around. If he was a New South Welshman he'd be playing origin this year.

I agree, so happy Parra signed him

Still bitter from Round 6? By the same token we could say Parra's most potent attacking weapon is Jarryd Hayne's forehead :p

Uhm, it's Round 11 - not even halfway, and the 'Dogs are well and truly within striking distance.

Credit for actually looking at Canterbury objectively. Well done.

does this geriatric wanker actually watch any rugby league? You could write down his entire knowledge of the game on a 1ply sheet on toilet paper using a f**king marker pen

We're playing like busted arses atm yet we still beat a team who chucked everything at us

If you were playing like busted arses, how was your defence so good? :?

Our defence was good but our attack was poor. We got 3 opportunistic tries. Plus we were missing Dugan, Campese, Shillington, TLL and Orford.

There isn't a lot the Bulldogs can take out of that loss.

Your describing the dogs Week In Week Out , you have Campese to come back at least , without Paynes offloads or Barba's talent the Dogs attack is dysfunctional

It was one of the worst games of the season I thought. Ryan's intercept pass was
so slow that I couldve walked down to Canberra and caught it whilst idris was just watching it come to him. I think even the Canberra player was shocked how slow the pass was - usually you anticipate the pass but he didn't have to. Wouldn't be surprised if Barbra was out for the 40-20 attempt but didn't really matter. I think Pritchard has really stymied Morris on the left ala Taylor and Inglis at Souths. Was nice to see Choker oops I meant Croker put in a penalty from the same spot as last September.

And they did almost twice as much tackling as you - esp in the first half

Really? So possession was 66/34 was it?
If i recall correctly, it was around 55/45 at half time. Hardly almost twice as much.
The only reason it got close was due to our boys getting tired. The first half was the true indication of the difference between the sides.

What sought of an argument is that , only Saints players get tired even after you had most of the possession.

The Full time siren is the indication of difference between two sides ,afterall a game lasts 80 minutes last time I checked.

Bump.

canterbury and their friends in the media are using injuries as the reason they’re not going as well as fans expected, but most clubs have had decent injury tolls and soft tissue injuries this year.

Whomever lost that game today would be hanging their heads in shame. Bulldogs losing to Newcastle by 66-nil is beyond woeful and completely embarrassing.
And this is coming from a very one-eyed Knights supporter.

That team of plodders in Newcastle jumpers should not be breaking club records for biggest wins in the club's history. I'm stoked for the Knights, but that was embarrassing from Canterbury.
