The great man has decided to address this issue by bringing up the past discrepancies of major stars in the last few years in a range of sports in an attempt to get us to feel sorry for Ben. Imagine if this as a roosters or dragons player or any other club he doesn’t like.

I really don't see how continueing to play wouldm't help him stay focussed and work through whatever issues. Surely there's no better distraction than being a pro athlete with a game to focus on every week. Its not like his play is affected, it was only a couple of weeks ago where he dominated a collection of the best players in the world. I don't know why everyone says this was handled well, to me the decisions being made are idiotic and boneheaded blunders. Seems none of this big fuss needed to be made.
