But the doggies didn't, Folks catagorically stated that he placed only little importance on this match... last year the panthers sent all their players over, but sent them in cold and without much preparation... The year before, Ricky Stuart had decided he'd had enough of the poms trying to say their teams were better because they usually win the WCC, so he sent the roosters best side and organised 2 warm up matches. The result? The Roosters thrashing St Helens 38-0! It speaks for itself.

Gould was saying that the dogs would of won by 40 with a full strength side.
There is plenty of ifs and buts and the only thing i know is that Leeds are world club champions. The dogs were missing a few players but did have the majority of there grand final team in the side so no excuses.

Why don't you actually come out of your hole and show who you support instead of hiding behind your own alias and bagging and baiting?
Same goes for the bloke who made the original post, and Gregstar too. It's pathetic.

I'm just sick of Phil Gould when he talks on these matches, he just goes on and on about how Australian teams will always win these games by 50 or 60. I don't care how much he knows about the game, he gets plain irritating. I don't mind him when he does other stuff, so I guess it is the early mornings.

(had a big one last night so didnt watch it live and didnt know there was a replay)
and i must say the way the dogs finished the last 5 minutes is nothing short of disgraceful. And the ref let them get away with murder in the play the ball in the final 4 minutes #-o

They aren't as bad as listening to Gould, Peanut Brain or those New Zealand commentators.

The Way I See It is Raiders supporter. They always seem to have something to complain about.

Everyones seems to be complaining about the cheap shots. I watched the 2nd half live, and yeah there were some, but so what. It is a physical game isn't it?.
To me it was a pretty ordinary game..... where was the defence. 71 points. But hey that is my opinion. I prefer more blues and less points.
As me old coach used to say, if, buts, gunna's or should ofs, the hooters sounded and the game is over........ Leeds won. They are pointing to the scoreboard as we chat.
One thing that really worries me, and that is Sonny Bill's tackling style. I agree the young bloke has it all but shite, I'd hate to see his career cut short with stuffed shoulders. If he persist in using the "old Shoulder" charge in tackles then one day it will be him that comes off second best. I've seen it so many times over the years..
He is to good a player to have that happen to him.
Another thing I really want to see is the Cronulla Sharks playing next years WCC match. That would mean that we have finally won a comp. Yeah I know, "Tell him he's dreaming"
Cheers

I couldn't believe when Luke Patton shoved Richard Mathers' face in the turf after he scored a try, resulting in a bloody nose.
Nor was I impressed with S.B. Williams starting fights during and after the game when the players were shaking hands.
They really are dirty dogs!
After the game? Mate he was hugging players at the end you goose. Patten fell over at that try and fell onto Mathers.
Don't try and bait us you goose. f***in grow up
Thats the same niggling that happens every rond in the NRL.Moffo said:Matt M said:I didn't notice Bailey as much, but Matuia was just ridiculous, especially early on in the game. The thing with Patten wasn't much really, I don't think it was intentional.

If you watch the start of the game, Maitua's face got smashed into the ground twice in a tackle and his face was pretty well attacked. I'd be pissed off after that as well
Big Mick said:ISame thing with the Dogs this year. As Gould said, they hadn't prepared for the match, they hadn't been working on ball skills etc, but rather Fitness. and thats what saw them come home really strong and nearly pinch the game from Leeds.

erm, you do realise this was leeds' first game too?? and the bulldogs had 10 gf players in the team against our very young team???
tony smith's already said IF we win the gf next season he'll be more than happy to take the rhinos down under for the wcc.
wonder what you're excuses would be if we won again.....
melon.... said:I cant believ the pathetic excuses from Dogs fans. Whats this rubbish about Leeds playing 5 trials? GOOD ON THEM...unlike your rabble they prepared. If The Dogs prepared, or cared for that matter, they would have done an Easts, played a couple of trials and flogged Leeds. But you were outplayed.
