Unless what Doga is admitting is:Barba
Morris
Lett
Lafai
Turner
Yup. Right up there with Canberra
I personally have no issue with this one ... Idris will be replaced by Lafai, Tandy is gone, Hodgson is retiring, and Ryan could be going too.
Kasiano will replace Hodgson, Foster will replace Ryan .. so they have cap space IMO.
What I do have issue is how ignorant this post is:
Unless what Doga is admitting is:
Dugan > Barba
Thompson = Morris (different styles, but both roughly equal in terms of value to the team)
Croker > Lafai
Ferguson > Turner
Vidot > Lett
Dogs Side 2008:
So out of the 38 players used in 2008, only 8 remain in the squad today (Barba, Idris, Ryan, Armit, Roberts, Morrin, Nanai and Warburton).
Idris is gone, and the rest are off contract except for Barba. What are the odds that the Bulldogs team of 2012 will feature ONE sole survivor from its 2008 squad? Is there any other side in the NRL with that kinda turnover?

Feel free to think your team is better than they actually are, Moffo :crazy:Hahahahahaha
Canterbury-Bankstown boss Todd Greenberg claims the signing of James Graham will not hinder the NRL club's ability to sign an outside back.
The Bulldogs on Wednesday confirmed the signing of the talented 25-year-old front rower, giving the Bulldogs the ability to put out a representative-calibre pack in 2012 when he joins the likes of Frank Pritchard, David Stagg, Greg Eastwood, Michael Ennis and NSW hopeful Aiden Tolman.
The loss of Idris to Gold Coast Titans next season threatens to leave the Bulldogs a little thin out wide and while Greenberg said the club still had room under the salary cap to sign a centre, he denied the club was in desperate need of an Idris replacement.
"Nothing's changed there, we're still looking at our options there," Greenberg said.
"Timmy Lafai's been nothing but very impressive since he came into first grade and you've also got Johnno Wright who hasn't had his opportunity yet this year - there's no need for us to make any drastic decisions regarding the centre position at this stage."
Adding to Greenberg's satisfaction with what he already has on his books is the fact there are few standout options as far as centres go on the open market, with Newcastle's Junior Sau and Manly sensation Will Hopoate amongst the slim pickings.

As for Graham - who will arrive in Australia after completing his commitments with the England side at this year's Four Nations tournament to take up a three-year deal with the Bulldogs - Greenberg said his off-field characteristics as much as his obvious on-field talent made him an easy choice for the club.
"His football ability speaks for itself and we've seen a number of quality Englishmen come to Australia and perform well and we see James Graham being no different to that," said Greenberg.
"He had a steely resolve in him when I spoke to him last year about the challenge of playing in the NRL - what he thought was the premier competition in the world and he wanted to try his hand at it - and we're just delighted that he's chosen us.
"He's had wonderful success at St Helens and most people forget that he's only 25 - really he's walking into the prime of his career."
Graham, who took on the England captaincy prior to the 2010 Four Nations tournament following injuries to Jamie Peacock and Adrian Morley, said joining compatriots Sam Burgess and Gareth Ellis in the NRL had been a long-held ambition.
"The decision to leave St Helens has been by far the biggest decision of my rugby league career," Graham said.
"I love the place and I never wanted to play against them and as such I didn't consider any other Super League options.
"Testing myself in the NRL is something I've always wanted to do and the Bulldogs just seemed right from day one."
:lol: I love how people just make up shit to support their claims.Todd Greenburg also stated a few weeks back on the footy show;
"The Bulldogs are a club that prides itself in abiding by the salary cap"
What a joker. So apparently there is still 250k+ available at Belmore. Because thats what Sau is commanding.
 I love how people just make up shit to support their claims.
What am I making up?
Greenberg did say that. Sau does want that.

Big f**ken deal
BTW Jamal Idris is a Chester Hill Junior. He was a Bankstown Boy before he went to Forster. As is Blake Ferguson, Anthony Wattmough...
So now we've gone from promoting within to true local juniors. If you were to go through with a fine tooth comb for all clubs I am sure you will a lot have been brought in from elsewhere.
Undoubtedly, a lot of players would be.
However, you miss the point. Only one club calls itself the family club and has an alleged history of promoting and building a team around juniors. In fact, they felt so strongly about this they decided to create a certain T-shirt.
I agree with your sentiment that the true local junior is quickly becoming extinct, especially since clubs are buying/raising players so young. However, there was a thread a while back that tallied the amount of players each club has that have played 1st grade elsewhere. The bulldogs had something like 21 out of their top 25 at the time.

The following is not a Greenberg Quote...
No its not,
