BL title was decided 4 rounds from the end. EPL title race however was done and dusted on Sunday - 6 rounds before the end.

I take it you missed the games last night?

United 5 points clear with 5 games to go and have to travel to the council house in a few weeks.

Its as over as La Liga.

Both are a lot less over than the BL.

So.... /thread.

I don't miss anything. Last night was an aberration for Man U. They have all the momentum and City have none. It's over regardless of the derby.

Nah. Not having it.
Just admit you missed the games.

Then we can close this thread down.

Intense finish to a wonderful BL campaign as always.

BvB away to S04, FCB to host Mainz just afterwards. Stuttgart closing in on Gladbach's CL spot. Relegation battle between Hertha, FCA, HSV and Koeln.

Down to the wire, beautiful.

Nordrhein-Westfalen is really dominating German football this term. 3 of the top 4 spots occupied and 1 team in the cup final. They do look like losing Koeln as well though.

Koln have been flirting with relegation for about 4 years now. Must admit I'd love Hertha to stay up. Have a soft spot for them and it would be good to have Ruka stay in the top flight.

Me too, Rehegall is another reason for me to like them. Plus Berlin is the only German city I've been too and I LOVED it...

They picked up a precious and probably unexpected point today away to Leverkusen (3-3). Next week they have the wooden spoon clash with Kaiserslauten, must win. So this time next week they may be much closer to the safety zone... Seemed a pretty bizzare game today, they had a man sent off THEN started a comeback, they went up 2-3 at one stage...

You seem disappointed Tonearm. I thought you'd be happy with another Bavarian team in the top flight.

Not really. I believe there are ultra connections between both clubs & Fürth's main rival are the ferals of Nürnberg. It's just another Bavarian match FCB will struggle in. Very untidy record in Bavaria lately.

If FCA can hold on there will be 4 Bavarian teams in the BL next season. Sadly I think two will battle relegation. I notice th thieving gymnasts will spend another season in the second league  hopefully they're back in the Regionalliga soon.

DFB announced today that it's sold the domestic BL rights (again to Sky) for the period 2013-17 for 628M euros/season (roughly 2.5B euros overall).

Surely that would put the BL 2nd to the EPL in terms of a domestic rights deal?

Sky Germany.

And I think Setanta still have the rights here for next season. You can access Setanta through Fox now too.

Not exactly the hardest thing to do - they're coverage atm is average.

Get rid of the shit one-horse race SPL and they'll open up a few more timeslots for live games, full replays etc. Also from next season France will have a Friday night game. Interesting to see which league they go with.

Also is it true SBS is doing the German Cup final?

Jesus Christ, apologies for the terrible grammar. Two weeks into Uni holidays and I've lost what little IQ points I had.

Back to topic though, you're right. The Russian league has also become quite interesting too. Merely for those artificial pitches.

90% sure that SBS are doing the Pokal.
