Logan was good at souths. I remember there was a push for him to play origin but Nutley got the spot.

And suprisingly..Scott Minton > Cowboys

No need to put the sarcasm in! :sarcasm:

If he hadn't been injured I have no doubt we'd have 3 or 4 more wins on the board.

Only 5 candidates:

Asotasi
Prince
Laffranchi
Bailey
McKinnon

Laffranchi is probably the best in that he has probably surpassed expectations more than the rest, who were all well paid and expected to perform.

Asotasi for mine, he has allowed others in the team to step up as he leads the way. He has brought something to the club that the south pack has been missing for a long time. And I think he is playing better football for souths than he did for the Dogs, he is just so involved in every set. Great to see him going so well.

McKinnon as a biased vote.

Ah Van...gives it to McKinnon
This is why they brought him to Auckland
This is why he came across the Tasman, to come up with big plays like this..Mckinnon
O what a try
One of the best solo efforts you'll see anywhere in rugby league for some time
he's gone all the way, the number 1 has a scored a scintillating four-pointer
his second for the night
he has white-line fever

Other players

Roy Asotasi has really stepped up to lead the Bunnies around the park. I questioned whether he was worth 2 million over four seasons, but he has proven that he is.

Anthony Laffranchi has taken his game to another level, and would've played in SOO3 had he not been injured in the win over Newcastle.

Scott Prince has driven a solid Gold Coast team around the park this season.
