$800,000 is the new $400,000 so I'm not quite sure why you would be shocked at that. Plus he's a superstar. Will bring a ton of people through the gate, more sponsership and hype. Plus he is a pretty handy player too. Of course injuries could be a problem.

Although I think SBW is a dog, lets be honest here; SBW coming back to NRL will be a positive because:

1. he'll generate publicity for the code
2. he is a talent that RL needs in its ranks

The positives far outweigh the negatives he brings with him, and anyone saying it is a bad signing is an absolute dip shit.

Sonny Bill is a great talent and to have him in RL would be great for the code itself.
