Hi WCD. Sorry to hear this. I am a comparative newcomer to the forum but I enjoy your posts and the interplay with other posters (even the rude ones!). My wife had a serious bout with "Jack the Dancer"a few years ago but thanks to some new drugs that have been developed recently she is now in the clear. I hope you have similar success. MATE DONT YOU DARE CHUCK IN THE TOWEL REGARDING YOUR HEALTH.....I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE DREADED C 5 YEARS AGO AND SO FAR IM DOING OK....AS A MATTER OF FACT HOPEFULLY FINGERS CROSSED AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN CROSS.... I SEE MY SPECIALIST NEXT MONTH FOR MY FINAL APPOINTMENT THEN IM IN REMISSION.....SO HANG IN THERE MATE BECAUSE WE AINT GOING NOWHERE JUST YET.......AND BESIDES WE INTEND ON SEEING A FEW MORE PREMIERSHIPS BEFORE WE CALL IT A DAY....NOW YOUR SAYING GOODBYE....MY ADVICE IS DONT....WHEN I HAD MANY DARK DAYS IT WAS THIS FORUM AND THE GREAT PEOPLE ON HERE THAT HELPED ME GET THROUGH IT...I DONT AGREE WITH ALL ON HERE LIKE IM SURE THEY DONT AGREE WITH ME, BUT PEOPLE LIKE TRU SAINT, MINH,DRAGONSAMY61,OKB OLD TIMER, CRUSH ,2010 JUST TO NAME A FEW ARE FANTASTIC PEOPLE TO BANTER WITH SO DONT GO ANYWHERE PLEASE..I THINK YOU WILL FIND A FEW OF US HAVE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE SO YOUR NOT ALONE....AND FINALLY WE ARE FAMILY THE RED V FAMILY....CHEERS

Never good to hear of people having Jack knock at their door. I lost my mum this year to it but she went 16 years before it took her down.

WCD - stick around buddy, you are better off with the forum. Stay positive too, there is no doubt your attitude plays a part in the fight.

All the best. I was in your situation some years ago with prostate cancer. Had surgery and radiation and tests showed the cancer was gone.
Fast forward and it's back and has spread to my bones.
I have no symptoms and it's watch and wait.
You gotta fight the cancer, don't let it beat you. There has been great steps taken in treatment.
We are all with you so don't feel alone, all of us here are with you.
